hi Dubi.

I have your erdpurt, it has finished outdoors in my climate 60N!
been crossing it with royal dane, typhoon and selected autos to see what hybrids might work even better up here. last cross is with tangiematic, and some f1s will be tried outdoors this summer for the fun of it.

I am interested in getting a Thai leaning hybrid to finish outdoors up here.
I also have your thai chi fem and golden tiger regs. wouldn't dare to try those outdoors, wasting precious seeds. but do you think they can be crossed with erdpurt and finish somehow? I won't be able to buy new seeds for a while, otherwise I would go straight from your zamal auto!

I am trying to work on breeding my own auto version of a cambodian landrace.
starting with khalifa genetics seeds. still trying to germinate mekong haze. almost out of mekong seeds.
I hear rumours that you are planning on releasing a cambodian line?
my project may fail miserably, so I really hope you are releasing pure cambodian landrace!

Hi teide,

Glad ErdPurt finished properly so up north! :)
Thanks also for supporting our Thai Chi and Golden Tiger releases.

At your latitude, the best bet is to grow 100 % autoflowering strains like Auto Zamaldelica and plant them as early as your weather allows it to make sure they flower with the best outdoor light intensity of summer months and so they can ripe on time before the cold weather arrives.

Regarding your SE Asian sativa project, i don't think a straight cross between a long flowering SE Asian sativa with a semi auto like ErdPurt will produce something that can finish on time at your latitude. You will need to cross the SE Asian sativa with a 100 % autoflowering strain (Auto Zamaldelica would be a great choice to keep the sativa character), then make F2s from the F1, select the 25 % of 100 % autoflowering plants with SE Asian traits and personality from the F2 generation and then breed with them a F3 fully autoflowering strain with hopefully the traits you are seeking for.

I explained this breeding process in more detail in the Auto Malawi x NL thread:

Yes, we expect to start a few SE Asian landrace sativa preservation projects in the upcoming months although is still too early to comment about them, will do it if we succeed.
