I've grown for a little while but this is the first time i've seen this. How many other people find themselves with calyx (calyxes? calyxen?) on leaves? A few clones did this on this grow.
I believe that is a trait found in some chinese landraces ? I've seen it documented a few times, one guy had a small bud at the center of each leaf set.
i've seen it before. i've heard its more common with some strains than others. i believe it was either apollo 11 or 13 that had it happen commonly. there is a name for the trait also but cant remember what it was it sounded something like chinese but that wasnt the word
It was introduced to me simply as "thai" but it seems to be thai with a little something else (afgahni?) mixed in. its the first true female pheno i've gotten in five generations of a self-pollinating strain
thank you for the interest and for your contribution to my knowledge
Here's some more pics. I find this fascinating. even though they're all cuttings from the same stock plant, in the same growing system, there's one or two that have it on nearly every bud leaf. some dont show it at all, and some just show it on one leaf. i would love to know what this is called.
