What's new

CalMag Def, GH NER, Stolen Gif's, Surveillance Cams, LED's, Coco

I dunno, what do you guys think?

GH's own gif

GH-MGB.gif

but here @ week 3 with less Bloom

GH-MGB-still.jpg

= CalMag Def because the NER (Nutrient Element Ratio) for Coco is off (even though GH says its Schedule is or Drain to Waste Hydro , which is what Coco really is). IOW, GH is assuming a non-coco grow, and a purely water based hydro grow

It's not the Gro that contains the majority of the Mg, it's the Bloom, so in veg, under LED's, in Coco, using GH Gro schedule I am experiencing CalMag def.

I'm gonna try a 1:1:1 NER (Nutrient Element Ratio) of Micro, Gro, Bloom AND adjust with MgSO[SUB]4[/SUB]·7H[SUB]2[/SUB]O (Magnesium Sulfate heptahydrate, Epsom Salt) to kick the Ca:Mg ratio from 3:1 to 2:1 because I'm reading some studies that says optimal Mg in Leaf Tissue (samples) in Cannabis are 60ppm.

how often do you water them ? the coco on top looks dry

don't really care what the guys write on the paper, search for growers using and having good results with the nutrients you use
for example i use Canna coco nuts but never follow the doses on the bottle...

your plants looks strong, big, nearly healthy, maybe just hungry

Do you have a security can in the tent to watch them remotely, cause that is what the pics look like? If so, are the red IR illuminators messing up the photoperiod?

Yeah, I have both an Arlo and a Google Nest cam. Plants are in veg right now at 18 on / 6 off so not a problem but I've read this can be an issue in flower. Each cam seems like it has different IR's. I think the Nest stays off unless you look on the app to see the video whereas the Arlo I think is on more often. I think you can even turn on or off the IR in the app settings but I'm gonna have to research it because you bring up a good point.

Maybe we need a security cam thread sticky with a list of cams and what each one does?

Mine is a Xvim, and I have 3 channels for the tents. Cool as hell to look at the plants from my desk on the other end of the house. At lights out I have a green LED on the CO2 scanner, blue LED displays on the humidifier. i wonder what frequency of light triggers the reactions?
