Calls from blocked numbers...

I've been getting calls from a blocked number lately. Nothing crazy, just one every few days. Does anyone know how I can find out who the calls are from????

crazy ex's or bill collectors is 99% of my restricted or blocked calls :joint:

i got real sketched out when i had a security breach a few months back (right around 4/20......) and then all of the sudden i got insane amounts of random numbers and restricted numbers and blocked calls and weird texts.... paranoia maybe?

anyways, i think its just bill collectors lol :joint: good luck bro

ussearch dot com......its pretty cheap just make sure you cancel the monthly subscription or a 3.99 phone trace turns into a 19.99 charge...

I'd say just answer it, you can always just hang it up or mess with the sales person or bill collector for fun.

Its not like they have access to your bank account by you answering the phone

I've never understood why people are scared of their phones.
you own them, tell the other side to fuck off.
easy enough, it's your right.
you pay for the service, don't sit in fear of a phone ringing.
what a waste of nerves.

I answer calls from "blocked" numbers this way:
"I do not accept calls from blocked numbers. If you wish to speak with me call back from an unblocked number", then hang-up.

I use *77 to have the phone system do that for me :)

It automatically rejects up to 99% of calls from anonymous/blocked numbers.

not sure if you received those on a cell phone. but there are shit tons of free apps that unblock all numbers and gives you the caller id...

It is now against the law for bill collectors to use use fake caller ID settings.

What does help (and they HAVE TO respect this!) is telling them bill collectors they are calling the cell phone a 7 year old has with him @ school.
Next time they call...play dumb and ask who they are and why they are calling that number even though it's the phone of a school child.

If they ask you for any sort of identification (even if it is only your name) then tell them due to all the scam around you do not talk about such things over a phone.
