Hello,
This is a quick post to point out a project I am starting, to hack (help improve) a multi-platform open source application called Hydrobuddy (written in Pascal, using Lazarus IDE).
Please do not respond to this thread, it's only to point out another thread I fear many of you programmers (whom may want to help hack Hydrobuddy) may not notice.
Hydrobuddy is a application used to formulate inorganic salt fertilizer mixes. It's advanced and feature rich, however, there are important features it lacks and like any application, it has some bugs.
I do not want to fork Hydrobuddy, but to help improve the application.
If anyone would like to help (please do!), or if you want to learn Pascal and use of Lazarus IDE, and then help, please see this thread:
Hacking HydroBuddy ... input and feature request thread
@ Mods: I am unsure if this thread is against TOU, I think not but I'm unsure. If it is I am sorry. Either way, could you please lock this thread, even if it's not against the TOU? I only wanted to use this post to point out the thread I think some programmers (or those who want to be programmers) may not notice. I could use the help of those who know what they are doing, more so than I. Thanks!
