the 18-21 year crowd may not be the biggest fans of this bill
and they have some cause, not huge cause, because as many are fond of repeating, anyone 18 or over can get a medical recommendation
so in practice, the 18-21 issue is a bit of a red herring, more a pretext to complain than a real issue

Subrob. I can care less what you think or say about me. Who do you think you are?. Someone special?. I think not! Your a nobody so stop pretending to be somebody. LOL. I side with Jack Herrer and Dennis Peron on this issue. YES, The Pioneers in the Cannabis movement. And who are you again?. Just some nobody that thinks he's special on the internet!. LOL!

VOTE NO ON PROP 19

Pioneers are not always right.
The founders of this country left us with slavery and we had to fix it later.

Prohibition is a failed public policy.
The only way to change it is to start with Prop 19 and work up.

Shouting in big caps like that just makes you seem very insecure.

But a No vote is simply a vote for the status quo to keep putting people in jail for ALL cannabis crimes including those battling 215/420 like the San Diego DA.

Cops and dealers need their jobs and money so they are against it
It's up to the rest of us to change the world.

I'm sure that piece of the bill is targeted toward actual children. I am really stunned at your selfishness.

Could you please tell us all here how these points you keep mentioning are worse than the current illegality of marijuana?

No SmilimBoob, You are wrong. The Bill clearly states that anyone 18-20 years old falls into this catagory. Under our current laws if i pass a joint to a 20 year old the most i will recieve is a $100 fine. With this new Bill i would get 6 months jail and a $1000 fine and more penalties. read this very carefully. Do you understand it now?

(c) Every person 21 years of age or over who knowingly furnishes, administers, or gives, or offers to furnish, administer or give, any marijuana to a person aged 18 years or older, but younger than 21 years of age, shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of up to six months and be fined up to $1,000 for each offense. (d) In addition to the penalties above, any person who is licensed, permitted or authorized to perform any act pursuant to Section 11301, who while so licensed, permitted or authorized, negligently furnishes, administers, gives or sells, or offers to furnish, administer, give or sell, any marijuana to any person younger than 21 years of age shall not be permitted to own, operate, be employed by, assist or enter any licensed premises authorized under Section 11301 for a period of one year.

and if you buy beer for an 18-20 year old you get in trouble too.
It's called parity.
As opposed to all people caught with beer go to jail.

It's very annoying how you keep posting the same article and assuming people don't understand. If you would read my previous post where you ask me the same thing you would know. Yes, I understand what that says very clearly.

You keep denying to answer my question.

Do you think it's right to deny the people age 21+ the right to freely smoke/grow their own marijuana just so the people that are underage can get high?

Please, answer my question.

I dont drink so i dont buy beer at all and wouldnt buy for anybody else either. Please dont try to put beer in the same catagory as Cannabis. Cannabis doesnt kill you like alcohol does. Thats what the government wants you to think, thought you were brighter than this. Cannabis is here to heal us not kill us. Thats what the DEA wants you to think though. Most of us know better!

Honestly if your in CA and voting NO your in the game for the profit and haven't yet been a victim of this drug war, if you have, there's no way in hell you would vote no so that somebody could continue to go through the same bullshit you and I went through over a victimless crime. vote yes on prop 19 end the cartels blood line, end the pointless arrests and wasted tax dollars. if your really bitching about the government regulating cannabis potency and all that or big tobacco coming in just grow your own more than half of you do already what difference will it make other than no more check ups from the local leos i know all you fellow med guys would love that

Why do you ignore a very important question? If you could answer the question with a reasonable argument and actually try to prove that this bill will make it worse than it currently is then people will listen to you. It seems you are unable to answer questions by people here.

Could you please tell us all here how these points you keep mentioning are worse than the current illegality of marijuana?

travieso you ever had a possession arrest? cause your playing that shit off like its nothing and i highly doubt you have

LOL. With this new BILL if you get caught with more than 28.5 grams you WILL go to Jail for possesion. Have you read the BILL yet?. This BILL doesnt change anything about possesion charges. You probably will do more time if this Bill passes! wisen up!

WOW. Cant you read?? I've posted it several times. Let me say it once again for you.

With this BILL I will go to jail for 6 months and pay a $1000 fine for passing a joint to my 20 year old homie. Under our current laws all they could do is fine me a maximum of $100 bucks. No jail time at all. I wouldnt even have to appear in court.

Are you comprehending now? Geesh!

Thank you for answering the question. Now I can say with certainty that you really have no clue the harms of illegal marijuana cause. If you think that the worse thing is minors not being able to get high you are lost and confused with no real sense as to want really happens with marijuana being illegal.

Thank you for finally proving to me that you have no clue just what harms marijuana's illegality causes.

Bullshit!!

1 - As an indoor Prop 215 care provider I clear about $40K/yr after overhead. And every single gram I grow (except my personal) goes to a cooperative. I also *give away* 25% of my medicine!

2 - I have done time for weed. I also have family members who are currently facing 25 years for God given meds!

3 - I have been in Nor-Cal since 1972 and have been smoking for 40 years. I know quite a few OG's from this culture.

4 - read my sig cuz I'm for decriminalization not regulation, I don't want corporate take over, and I'm sick and fucking tired of all these capitalist noobs flocking to my state and ruining our hard work along with our genetics..

I'm more than happy to open my eyes and wisen up. IF someone can actually bring creditable points to the table. If you tell me that you think the bill is wrong because minors won't be able to get high.. That is not a creditable point.

You are not helping anyone wisen up with the way you go about persuading people to change their minds. In your mind you are, but in your actions you are turning people against you just by the simple fact of how you react to people.

Grow up.

Im done here

now I realize you are not someone to discuss policy with.
You have no grasp of reality and/or have let your agenda blind you to the facts.

I have had enough. You can't discuss logical items with the illogical. Blind is the word. Living in the darkness is more like it!!
