Call or e-mail a request for instruction sheets, specify the model numbers of your units when inquiring.

the ph pen is easy, just get some ph 7 solution & stick the probe in it, wait about 5 min, then adjust the ph to 7 on your meter, same w/ the trimeter. you will need calibration solution for both, call hannah inst. if you cant find it localy.

my pens never last more than a year anyway......

i've heard of the hanna trimeters getting off calibration after a few months so i would recalibrate after each grow too.

Thanks for the replies but the hanna is just the ph only.

The tri meter is the blue one by nutradrip.

oops. by the word "trimeter" i meant the hanna model that measures three things (ph, ec, tds). i think it is the hanna 91????? (something like that) but yeah, the real "trimeter" is made by nutradrip. my bad :spank:

98129. Its the one I use but I have to calibrate it OFTEN.

yo growtime. i'm gonna pick up a monitor here pretty quick and since you say you have the hanna 98129, how do you like it? you said you have to calibrate "often" are you talkin like every week or every res change or every grow? how far does it get off? and any experience with the trimeter (nutradrip)?

Nope, havent used a nutradip. I need something portable since I have a bunch of reservoirs that I need to check. I like the 98129 for the versatility but yes mine needs to be calibrated often. Ive taken the overkill angle and I calibrate it nearly every day. Is that truly necessary? No, but I don't want a couple days to go by where it gets out of whack and starts messing up my grow before I realize that the meter is out of whack. Ive seen what meter problems can do and I dont want to see it again! Ive had it get .4 low (thats baaad in flower) and 80ppm low. It IS a good meter for the versatility as long as you keep it calibrated.

ya i calibrate my meters 1 time a month. your meter is only as good as the calibration solution you use so dont go cheap, & replace often.

my ph meter is always rock solid but my ppm meter swings wildly for some reason
