Calcium and/or Potassium deficiency? [PICS inside] plz advise :/

man, this grow has been of ill fate so far.

first i let them veg for too long then some burned their leaves because they got too close to the HPS

i been observing my ladies of late with a close eye and noticed some damage on a few leaves. not all ladies are equally affected.some not at all, some only 1-2 leaves and some show some rather irritating damage

my nute solution EC is kinda low, only around 0,8 (veg phase) then rose it up to 1.2 (in 3th week of flowering) and the plants are pretty tall already ( around 100 -115 cm = like 3 3/4 feet!)

i am guessing it's a calcium or potassium deficiency, whats your take?

if so, how to resolve asap?

thanks and cheers party people

here some grow related facts:

How long has this problem been going on? a week maybe
What system are you running? cocos (handwatered)
What was the establishing technique? clone
What is the age of your plants? 7 weeks
How tall are the plants?about 110 cm/ 3'5 feet
What PHASE are the plants in? flower (exatcly at 21 days into flowering)
What substrate/medium are you using? coco
What is the Water temperature? 19 c
What color are your roots? white
What Nutrient's are you using? Metrop (www.metrop.nl)
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using? EC 0.7 at first, now at 1.2
What is the pH of the "Tank"? 6,2
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment? yes
What size bulb are you using? 600w hps
What is the distance to the canopy? 1 ft (cool tube)
What is your RH Factor(Relative Humidity)? 40-50%
What is the canopy temperature? 26
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range)27 at day 24 at night
Is your water HARD or SOFT? rather hard

Looks very similar to a problem I am having...yours is a different strain so the problem presents itself a little differently but overall the brown spotting that starts between veins (sometimes at edge) and at random on the leaves is the same. Finally, uploading is enabled again so when I have my cam tomorrow I will post some pics. Just like in your case I need to get this resolved asap.

Cheers

...lol forgot to mention...from my research and from what people have told me this is likely calcium deficiency. For me it is either that I did not add any to my water for a few weeks for lack of knowledge or that my pH is too high for absorption.

How big are your plants? WHat nutes are you using and how much of each?

hi stitch

my plants are all between 105 cm = 41 inches [shortest] - 120 cm = 47 inches [tallest]

As for nutes i am using metrop (www.metrop.nl).
it consists of 5 parts:

MR1 [10-40-20] ---> used for veg and first 3 weeks of flower
MR2 [10-20-40] ---> start after the 3th week of flower
Amino Root ---> used for veg and first 2 weeks of flower
Amino Bloom ---> start after the 3th week of flower
CalGreen ---> use all the way though the grow

now i have only been using approx. 70 -80 % of what the manufacturer suggests in his layout, so in the 3rd week of flower my nute solutions EC value is at 1,2 ( layout ---> http://metrop.nl/eng/4 index kweekschema eng.htm )

i am also adding enzymes once a week from advanced natural power.

i started to add a little more CalGreen now and it seems that it hasn't worsened since..

thx and stay safe

Flush out your plants..... you got nute burn. Sorry for getting late, I try to get everyone in :)

What amount of water to nutes have you been using and how often?
Even with a cooltube, those plants are having some heat issues to the tops area of those leaves, first move the light up and then flush your plants out with a lot of water.

What size container are they in?

hei stitch

they are in 11 liter pots, i handwater all 3 days.

i always have at least 30 % drain when i water, i give them 4 liters and at least 1 liter goes to waste (i run this drain to waste).

moving the lights up won't really possible since my homebox has a standard height and (fuck me) i let them veg for too long and now they stretched too much already. the growth has now stopped tho and the flowering (budding too) hast started.

you think i have nute burn even with such a low EC, 30% drain (+ enzyms) ?

if so, how to flush? just use regular tap water (ph around 7.8 and EC of 0,3 where i live) then flush them thoroughly and at the end give them a weak ph- regulated nute solution again?

thx so much for your effort bro

Your nutes you are using are not balanced and is causing a problem, you should not be having any nutrient related problems with the dosages you are using you have an excess.

Use around 4 gallons of water on each plant to flush it out properly.....

tap water will do fine for a flush.
