I've been reading up on coco growing and might give it a try in the near future. I have a question. I understand that coco that haven't been buffered will have lots of potassium & sodium and as you use it the coco will leach onto calcium & magnesium releasing the potassium. But is cal / mag really required if you use a good quality buffered coco like gold label or canna ?
also our water supply is rich in calcium (360ppm) but very low in magnesium (0.75ppm). So would it be advisable to use mono magnesium or nitrogen / magnesium instead if any problem occurs ?
