Cabinet Grow advice.

I have a pretty small dresser that I would like to use to grow in. It's about 2 1/2' wide 2ft tall and 2 feet deep....I'm planning on using some CFLS until I get the money to buy a good hps....Right now I have 1 Sagarmartha seed strain unknown germing, and I WOULD like to begin preparing the cabinet. Any help would be great!

Two feet tall your not going to grow anything at all. subtract light pot with soil and your not going to grow shit sorry!

Okay....Seed has germinated...put it in some soil from my veggie garden in the backyard. Have 2 cfls on it atm. Lets so how it goes!

Great advice from the Maj. My advice would be to germ more than 1 seed, germ 3 that way your chances are better than you will get a girl

Wait a minute -

He never said that he wanted to harvest in the least amount of time possible.

Look bro, you can totally pull off a killer harvest if you SCROG it. Under CFLs, you might be vegging for a couple months, but like I said, if you aren't in a hurry you can totally pull off growin' some killer nugglets.

I would use blue spectrum (Daylight 6500K) fluorescent tubes to start seedlings for the first few weeks and switch to high output 6500K CFL's from then on, SCROGging HEAVILY!!!!! Make sure to keep weaving the shoots in and out of the screen until half way through flower and you will have plenty of budsite, even with CFLs.

Make sure to grow organic. I suggest Fox Farm Ocean forest soil and Botanicare's SWEET vs. Advanced Nute's CarboLoad.

Many people with dressers fail to use all the space available. Most dressers have feet of some type leaving space between the bottom of the dresser and the floor. This space can be utilized by cutting holes in the bottom of your dresser for your pots. If the legs are only a couple of inches tall, consider replacing the legs with a 1x8 base board all the way around which will conceal the hydro or pots. This will allow you a critical few extra inches of height. Good luck and happy growing...oh....BTW...make sure you take extra care in your electrical and fan system cause the two two of the top 3 things that'll get you busted are stink and fire. Of course, you can guess the #1......don't tell anyone.
