Cab idea

Well, i've been thinking about building a cab for a while and i've come up with a plan to take advantage of the equipment that i have available to me. Heres the cab that i've designed.. Any feedback would be nice

interesting idea, there are some good charts on this site that deal with light ratings/dist/lumens and what not, check those out to make sure the 1000 won't be too much light. so long as you have good venting, you shouldnt need to worry that much about heat issues. good start though

Just wondering -- Has anyone experimented with dual flowering chambers with one light?

it seems like with the rotating thing you're making it harder for yourself. not sayin i wouldn''t LOVE to see it done, i think it would be awesome, i just think it might be more work than its worth. what about a split down the middle of the flower room and the light on a rail going back and forth every 12 hours with a flap in the middle where the light goes through the divider to keep light out of the dark side?

Looks like a good design Imkotter and that light idea seems cool but Im just curious as to why you would want to have dual flowering chambers like that. Would it be to have like a continuous harvest like once every month or would it be to have 2 different styles of grow like hydro in one chamber and soil in the other? I would love to see this built and then side by side comparison of different grow designs.

If you're flowering area is 4x4, why are you wanting to have a turntable setup so that only half of it is lit at a time? 4x4 is perfect for a 1k...

Well, I have scrapped this idea some time ago, but it was originally intented to get double the yield; AKA it would be equivelent to having two 1000watters
