Two years ago my grow was busted by LEO. They "detained" me for a couple hours while executing a search warrant. They went through my grow but didn't take anything. They let me go and presented me with the search warrant with certain parts of it blacked out so it was unreadable.
Fast forward 1 week. I had began to disassemble my grow and arrived one morning to see the door kicked in. There was another search warrant signed by the same judge but dated different than the first. The same stuff was blacked out again. This time they took some but not all of the equipment as well as 4-5 packages of unprocessed medicine. Everything was listed on the inventory seized page of the warrant. I was never picked up again or arrested and no warrant was ever issued. No charges ever filed.
Not wanting to stir the wasp nest I just let everything go. Its been almost two years now and curiosity is killing me as to what the probable cause was for the search.
Can I somehow request a copy of the unredacted version of the warrants and see where the "probably cause" came from. It must have been enough for a judge to sign two different search warrants but then not enough to charge me.
It was a crazy time that I hope to never have to go through again.
