This pheno of C99 came from the GN03 collection.

Pheno: Mostly Sativa

Flower Time: 50 days

Appearence: Medium size buds, very light green with heavy resin content. Bright rusty orange hairs.

9/10

Smell: Fruit for days, fruit punch, pineapples, grapefruits, and a hint of skunk. One of the most unique smells I have come across so far.

9/10

Taste: The taste is about like the smell, very fruity (pineapples, grapefruits). Plus being grown organic it's even better. One of the best tasting strains I've tried.

9/10

High: Very potent. Not for swhag smokers. Very uppy and gabby. I mean a half of joint will have you gabbing like a high school chick. Excellent day time smoke but can be overdone if smoked in large amounts. Large amounts leads to the retarded zone. Duuh! I wouldn't smoke Cindy if I had some important things to do that's for sure. Overall the high is enjoyable and different.

9/10

Overall: C99 is an excellent strain and I feel honored to grow it. She's a very unique variety of cannabis that's for sure. The smell alone will let you know that. The only downfall is the slow growth and finiky growth. She is picky but rewards you with fruity frosty nugs. Plus how can you go wrong with a 50 day flowering time.

9/10

Out of the strains that I've grown, C99 is the smoke I like the best. I don't really like growing it though as the weak branches are kind of a PITA and the yield is merely respectable. I'd like to try a C99 cross.

C99 is considered as an IBL so it does grow very slow. When it's crossed with another true breeding strain you will see hybrid vigor for sure. So far I crossed C99 with Cali-O and Deep Chunk. I plan on making a few more.

Right on the money. Amazing smell, but not sure I'd grow it again.

Not a smoke for the faint of heart. I've had some veeeery interesting experiences smoking too much Cindy in one sitting. Starts with "retarded" and progresses rapidly. Funny to look back on, not so funny in the moment...

Still, I've found her enjoyable over time. Great report!

I got 5 differnet C99 gals from 7 old seeds a bro of mine passed me.(GN03) I'm now on week 3 of flower with clones taken from the seed mothers. I got all them flavors in varying degrees from plant to plant. Some solid highs being produced by all the girls. I'm still not ready to end my search for the ultimate C99 mom though. That being said, I'd like to chuck some pollen from a worked C99 line F3+ back on a couple of these fems just for shits-n-giggles. May come up with something really special down the line. C99 beans and pollen are apparently hard to come by these days though, sooooo.

Where did you get your C-99?
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you definitely didn't grow out a pack of 10 beans. Femmed or a cut perhaps? I myself have a weak stemmed skimpy yielding pheno.

On the other hand, I've read a lot of reports that say there's nothing wrong with the stems and yield on their end and we're not talking kid growers here either.

The C-99 grows of old looked fat and frosty, definitely no yield issues there. Just need to look harder for the real deal now?

Mine were GN03 (Gypsy Nirvana Collection). I grew out an entire pack of 10 or 12 (I don't remember). C99 has weak stems as a trait passed down by Princess. One of the reasons Brothers Grimm crossed Princess with a Shiva Skunk in the process of creating C99 is they wanted to strengthen the stems. They might have improved on Princesses' stems, but they are still weak; my plants couldn't stand on their own once they budded up.

I didn't say mine yeilded skimpy, just that they are kind of a pain the the butt and not big yeilders. I could get around 2oz out of a plant with a 5-7 week veg that takes up less than 1.25 square feet under a 400w light, but I could get more out of some other plants with less trouble.

Pine

An all C99 harvest (7.x ounces of just tops from 4 plants).

Thanks for the smoke report Closet Funk! Well done!!

Pinecone- I agree with you on the plant structure of the C99. My Cinderella 99's have much stronger branches that support the weight of a higher yielding plant.

Here are a couple of pics of my momma C99:

Man, what i'd do for a hit of cindy pollen! Ya got me wanting to get to know cindy alot more with your C4C99. It is still in my garden and I'd be very upset to lose her! Oh!!!
I found a small rock hard bud of the C4C99 that had to be from last december.
I went to stuff it in my pipe and low and behold was a single perfectly mature seed in the middle. I dont know how it got there, I had no pollen flying and she has never shown a single banana over the last year so its a mystery. I immediatly sunk it and have a healthy sprout now. I'll put it in the thread in time..
