hey all
i was wondering if this ment anythig or not. i have 2 c99 in vedge but only 1 grows this way and none of my other plants grow like this either. i have never grown c99 before so did not know if something was wrong or not. i have only fed my plants 1 time and it was with liquid karma. they are in 1 gallon pots.

thanks for the replys

Can we assume all your plants are the same age? So then you've got 1 plant growing with alternating nodes already and the others don't.........is this correct? You must have a genetic oddity if this is case. If it's a female I'd smoke it & not breed it!! :yoinks:

what up bipe? thanks for stoppin by.

yes all of my plants are the same age. all started from seed. i only have 2 c99f2's in vedge right now. i also have SD IBL,BLUEBERRY,OGKUSHBX1, AND LIFESAVER,and non of the others are doing this. i read somewere about the gieness pheno having wierd growth but none of the pics i seen look like this. i hope it is a female and if the smoke is better than the other one(if it's a female) than i'll keep it untill i plant the other seeds.

i haven't seen this before so did not know if it was a nute def or what.

i found this pic in the grow diaries. kinda has the same growth pattern. maybe it's just a sign of it being c99
the guy did say they were f2's and tasted of pinapple :yummy:
maybe i'm just being parinoid :pointlaug

I'd let it grow out and see how long it takes to finish. She is skipping the normal veg stage--will she also auto-flower like a ruderalis? You might have the next lowryder! A super fast finishing ( and therefore short) sativa might be interesting.

I highly doubt it's auto flowering. I've had that happen on Passion #1 seeds before, it didn't effect the outcome of the plant. I wouldn't worry over it, who cares what the plant looks like as long as you have dank bud at the end to show for it.

how old is that Cindy?

how big is the container?

how big is the plant?

...etc

I've grown out dozens of GN C99 from seed (edit : but most of those were from GN C99 x GN C99 crosses I made myself..but they were alot similar to the purchased Cindys)......they do tend to show sex in veg alot earlier than most strains....but that type of alternating branching looks very similar to a clone rather than a seedling..

I bet that one is a girl and will be an early finisher......it looks like it's going to be a branchy one too!...clone it before flowering!

hope it goes well! keep us informed!

One of 5 of my SPice Bros C99 F2s did the same thing, putting out internodes long before being sexed.

Are your F2s from Spice Bros?

C99 is said to be a fast maturer. Putting you internode far before the need for flower.
Its a great sales pitch since it can be sexed extremly fast.

F2's? probably from GN collection? Are they female seeds? X-line and such?

laxpunker; i don't think they are autoflowering. i leeve the light on 24/7.and yes i do love the dank so lets hope it's a she.

chamba; they are maybe 6 to 7 weeks old from seed. maybe longer, i did not wright it down so i'll have to find an old post and see when i posted for exzact day.
the container is 1 gallon.
the plant is 12 inches tall and about 7 inches wide, grown organicly, fed 1 time when i transplanted into the 1 gallon pots 2 weeks ago with lighid karma.
they were in my cab but it's hotter than a 2 dollar whore on a friday night around here :sasmokin: , so i had to bring them inside and dig out the old 70w mh for vedge untill i can get in my cab.the heat slowed them down and the low light made them stretch a little.will be adding some fluros this weakend.
bean and haze; they are GN f2's.

my other cindy plant is only half the size of that one. that pic was old so i will take a quick over all shot for a more up to date look a little later

this is normal... It has reached maturity and when that happens the nodes will have wierd spacing... as in not next to eachother side by side...

that's fairly normal for Cindy 2 months from seed in a gallon pot ..if you look closely at the stem/branch internode with a magnifying glass you should be able to see pre-flowers as they are now mature enough and are growing branches in an alternating pattern....I'd keep the males in the same pot and use them to pollenate a lower branch or two.....use all the males you have and keep track of which branch was seeded by which male

they are probably close to being rootbound now....do you have to water each day now? ..if so, I'd transplant to a larger pots now and let them veg for a another few weeks then flower them....since they will flower in this bigger pot I'd add some organic ferts to the mix ...quick acting N, and slower release P & K and a dash of dolimite lime..as well as soil conditioner to add drainage...3 gallon pot will work well!

when you transplant, stake them at the same time as well, cos they will need it later on

and you'll have work out a way to cool things down in there......

I've got a GN Cindy x GN Cindy in early flowering right now ..

chamba: i just put them in the 1 gallon pots 2 weaks ago. they are not root bound, i only have to water once a weak. its hot here and they were in my cab for a minute but i moved them inside so they are alot better now. i think the heat slowed them down, but now it's all good. they look very healthy and have new growth everyday. i'm waitin on my wormcastings, they should be here next weak. makeing some tea and cloning, waiting a weak or two puting plants into 12/12 to find females.

thanks for stopin by,,,,,dwtc
