okay this is my first go round on the closet grow my previous grow was in a full size bedroom so i got a few questions, and yes i know i downgraded i had to due to personal reasons.

i got a c25 mills pride, a can fan rs6ho and a can 66 filter which is 12" diameter and 26" long so i'm trying to stuff everything inside but cant seem to get everything to fit with my 6" cooltube and sunrise hi-low hangers. anyone got any suggestions? you think it'd be okay if i but the fan on top on the ceiling venting out and have it pulling through the light and carbon filter? so it's like this:

If you had gone with a can 33 it could have put it on top of the cab since it is only 12" tall. Your best bet is to put it on the side of the cab an exhaust into it. The setup you have now you are losing half your headroom.

well, actually if i go with the can 33 it would have defeated it's purpose considering the CFM the CAN rs6ho puts out plus you wanna pull through not push. Also, overall if i mount everything on top horizontally im only loosing 12-14" headroom which isn't bad considering i can stuff everything inside. plus most of the plants will either be scrogged or LST'd

:edit:
also the carbon filter is DIY based off of the can 66 and it ended up being only 9" diameter as opposed to 12"

run the fan next to the filter, the pushing through the cooltube then out of the cab, thatway if there were any leaks in the vent system, air would be pushing through them, not sucking in, so all air leaving the cab has run through the filter.

well that's the only thing. i cant run it like that due to limited space. i was gonna do it like that originally though CARBON FILTER > FAN > pushing out through LIGHT > and EXHAUST out of cab. but this is pretty much the only way i can place everything with it all staying inside the cab.

not even if you run the filter and fan from corner to corner? then run ducting to the cooltube and out?

yeah that might ACTUALLY work. im gonna go fiddle with it some more it's gonna be stuffed in there for sure though if i end up doing it like that.

I grew in a c25 for 4 years. trust me when I state you will need all the headroom you can get. i also have been pushing a vortex 449cfm through a can 33 for the past 6 years. I speak from experience. I dont know where your located, but humidity levels when the lights are off might ruin the carbon in your filter. Unless you plan on running the fan 24/7

99% of strains grown in this closet will be on the short side and either LST or SCROG so i aint really stressin it. the fan will be on 24/7 also and i dont have a big problem with humidity around here. i do appreciate all the input from everyone though and definitely take everyones closet experience into consideration :D

Sounds like a good plan. The secret to cab growing is controlling your heat and humidity. Just another note. I too started off with a 400watt bulb, but switched to a 600 hundred real fast. Reason being is because the c25 isnt deep enough to run the hood perpendicular to the floor. So I wasn't getting much light at the extreme ends of the cab. The 600 hundred took care of that problem.

Good luck with your grow

thanks man, yeah i was gonna go with a 600W originally but decided against it. i got 3 600W bulbs/ballasts and a bunch of other crap i used in a room grow but since i moved into this apt temporarily i had to go with something on a smaller scale and improvise haha. i also wish i could get a deeper cab so i could mount the light perpendicular but then the stealth aspect would be a little off considering im in an apartment now and a DEEP cab would look a little suspicious in my bedroom. plus with SCROG which im gonna be doin for the most part i'm not too worried about lower lighting ;)
