C24 sectioning...

I was wondering if anyone has pulled this off successfully. I have an un modified still in the box C24 and im wondering if its possible to section it off into three sections and how it would be done most efficiently. there would be a section im thinking 1ft wide by 1 ft tall x 20 inches deep for clones, and one 5feet tall and 1 foot wide and 20 inches deep for a mother, and the rest for plants i am flowering...

has anyone done this successfully? can you show me pics of your cab? it would help alot.

Use the shelf that supports it on the top part. You can use lower 4 feet for flower then seprate the top part of the shlf. Use the right hand side for clones and a mother and the left hand side for scrubber and exhaust

1 foot wide? Not many . Seriously though , use the horizontal shelf that is on the top half of C24 . That way bottom is 4ft and you have 2 feet on top. Use that 2 foot tall sectoon and seperate it with two chambers i for clones and a mom and other for scrubber. I have no ideas what you are talking about with a 1 foot wide section. would be tight in there and no air

Your wasting alot of space in the mother room. Use top section . Keep mothers short and bushy for alot of clones. You can use same chamber for clones and moms. Using top part gives you more room width wise an dcan store more plants that way.

No sorry, i wont draw a picture. Just assemble it as the instructions say. But in horizontal shelf fasten by cams as directed then split top section. Its easy. Check out the " Mills pride club" for pictures, cuz you wont get a drawing from me. I'll help but i draw the line at doodling drawings, sorry

NOTE: If you want even air flow in all 3 chambers you have to have equal size and length ducts otherwise you will have hotspots. I would recommend picking up a < 100cfm computer fan to separately vent your veg/clone chamber. Look at the Mills Pride Club thread and get some ideas. Personally I would build the cabinet to manufacturer specifications, you can leave out the center divider so you are left with a large lower chamber and a small upper chamber. Get a 4x8 wood sheet from home depot and have it cut into 24x68 inch pieces and screw it over the cardboard backing after you complete the cabinet. Make sure to cut your ventilation/wiring before putting the wood on. Will you be doing hydro? soil? LST? SOG? ScrOG?

One more very important thing... You do not want your carbon filter at the bottom of your flowering chamber sucking all of the cool CO2-rich air out. The best place for it would be at equal or higher proximity to the HPS light. Always suck from the top of a chamber so you get all the stale hot useless air out #1 priority.

depends what country? i got my "c24" its actually a cab with the exact same measurements of the one i looked at at home depot, but i live in canada so i went over the one of the other leading home renovations store etc called Rona and they had one there the almost exact same measurements but the backing was already a piece of melamine for 10$ cheaper than the one at home depot! if you live in canada i can give you the brand name and model number of the one i got. i think its better because the c24 comes with a cardboard backing sort of thing and its 10 dollars more and the piece of wood you would have to replace the cardboard with is another 20 or so so you are looking at 160 ish CAD just for the c24 than the 129 for the complete package just different brand name at the other store...

do you think by mounting them backwards so the front part is inside so air can be pulled through do you think that would work?

the trick is to keep the plants small (BONSI). you can keep them in 4 inch sqare pots and about 8 to 12 inches high. feed them only when they show deffisincies and when you want clones. other than that you want to barly keep them going.

there is a thread on the growers forum about bonsi moms. it goes into great detail about how to keep bonsi moms with pics also,,,,,,,,dwtc
