C13vsC22?

I cant decide which one to get, the ever popular C13 or the larger, seemingly more versatile C22. Any advice or comments more than welcome. Heres a link with the two side by side for comparison.

What is the price difference? If it isn't way more expensive I would go with the C22. There's a couple of extra sq. feet there.

C13 is deeper... my reason was the lighting footprint.

C22 is wider and shallower.

I've been very happy with the C13

Yeah I see your point. 4" doesn't seem like much until you don't have it. I guess it would depend on what lighting scheme you have. The c22 would be better for packing in the compact floros (possibly 2 different grow spaces). I can see the c13 making a better flowering chamber. You could really slam the lumens down that puppy.

The last time i looked at Home Depot there was only like a 20 or 30 dollar price difference. I was thinking since the C22 was divided u could do clones and mothers on one side and flower chamber on the other? Dual purpose u might say!

The C22 might be just what you need if you need veg space as well.

I just went to HD's site and the only mills pride product they show is a lazy susan. I guess I'll have to walk around one when I'm out of the woods (I don't get out much). Peace Herb.

My Home Depot had em both put together side by side so u could ck em out, which i did big time, but id wanted too get some feedback from the expert cabinet growers we have around here before i start forking out the money on something that might not work, Maistre so if i wanted to flower on one side and clone/moms on the other with the C22 i would still use a 250HPS for flowering right? And a couple compact floros on the other, and the 265cfm Dayton would be ok too cool both, if ducted properly?

do any of you know how much a c22 weighs? OVER 200 LBS!!!! do you know how many people it takes to safely move it up/down stairs? 4 very strong men. Make sure you figure this into your plans, as most forget till they get to the Home DePot

244 is the weight listed and 2 very strong men could do it. 4 not so burly guys could handle 61 pounds apiece don't ya think? It does come in pieces right? To make it even easier to manage. But if you want to assemble yours Then carry it around.....I'll watch.

yes, it does come in peices. you might need a pickup truck to get it home as well as it doesn't really fit too well in any other vehicles. uhaul rents them if you need for like $20 per day i think. make sure you don't build it just outside your grow room, then try to get it to fit through the door, because the c13 is a tight fit in doors, the c22 is even bigger.

To carry a C22 by yourself, you simply open the box and move it piece by piece. Took me all of 5 minutes to unload my C22 from my truck and carry it up a flight of stairs, by myself

Here it is Full, Got about 12 oz with this run. It is very hard to grow in such a small place. Constant attention is required.

I prefer a deeper cabinet any day. Sit the plants side by side in 5 gallon pots

The depth was an issue to me as well....I went with two C22s butted together with 2 400s.....They were on sale at the time for $89. Those suckers are heavy for sure, had help getting them in my vehicle at the store but at home i had to walk them back and forth into the garage. Bout gave myself a hernia!!

here's my c22 with not nearly as efficient a plant setup as i could get.

but to give you an idea....



have a 400 watt hortilux in there, and could EASILY put a 600 in... this requires an air cooled hood...which you can see in the picture..

265cfm fan for the cab into a filter, and a 185cfm fan just for the light.

i think i could fit 2 8 gallon buckets in there for a total of 8-10 plants depending on arrangement.... might even be able to get more in there.

only 3 plants in the pic tho , i was flowering out my mother tub for this run.
thinking about tryin to setup some type of ebb&flow table in there, or at least trying to gather ideas for it... but personally i think the c22 is the way to go, especially if you want to do a combo veg / flower box.

either way tho, it will work, and i'm sure you will be happy with the results, c22 or c13.

naw, i only ran one grow thru it. i moved and am no loger able to grow at home due to security reasons. still smokin on that harvest tho, almost 6 months later.
