C02

Hey all, I'm looking to update my setup to using a c02 system. I have used one in the past so I understand the basics and what equipment is needed. I remember seeing a C.A.P. C02 controller for like 150$ but I can't find it anywhere now so I'm wondering what affordable setups are out there that people can recommend. Regulator and controller. More so the controller u less someone knows a great deal on a regulator

My C02 system is me

I just sit, stare and breathe....

So cheap! You're welcome.

You'd probably be quite surprised if you were to measure CO2 before and after spending time in your room. It's significant. -granger

I only have two plants so it works for me. Sorry to frustrate you. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Any preferences in company reliability and quality? C.A.P, Titan, fuzzy. I've had 2 Titan controllers that I've had to send back for defect

July or thereabouts I bought this:

https://www.amazon.com/CO2Meter-RAD...qid=1478063202&sr=8-1&keywords=co2+controller

One of the best prices I’ve seen. Haven’t had it long, but so far no complaints. It reads very close and often exactly the same as a monitor I also have. And talk about crazy, it has a ‘ventilation’ mode. Felt like I paid for a feature I don’t need and would never use. But my ambient CO2 is high enough that with just a pilot light lit on my generator I can climb above 2000 PPM. With lights on. So... I can set it to ventilation mode and set the target at 1500 so that when I reach and exceed that target the room gets exhausted while bringing in air passively by way of the negative pressure... this also helps regulate the CO2 and humidity spikes at lights-out.

I’d say get a monitor (a bit cheaper) or a controller like I linked to, and check the current ambient levels before investing in any supplementation equipment... Granger’s point is spot-on. And not only will you see quite a difference in before and after in the room itself, you may also find your general ambient levels (outside your grow area) higher than you think. You might be surprised. I know I was very surprised by my ambient levels.

This was taken with the generator's pilot light unlit and a slight negative pressure:

Best of luck as you move forward!
