C02 regulator pressure gauge accuracy

I just got a new tank and a new regulator. I hooked it all up and the regulator is showing low pressure on a freshly filled tank. I've had propane tank gauges read poorly before and am wondering if the one on my regulator is doing the same. I don't wanna have to lug the tank back and exchange it if I don't have to.

It is a Titan regulator on a new tank. Pressure reads at the high end of "low".

We're all to assume the room is completely sealed? As in there are no possible leaks? No exhaust while running the tank (this is important)

What's that got to do with a freshly filled tank reading low? Hmm I guess maybe I wasn't as clear I could have been. Either the tank was underfilled or the regulator is inaccurate. I'm wondering which might be the case. I have had issues with pressure gauges in the past and was wondering what other people's experiences with them have been. If it is common for these gauges to read poorly then I'm not gonna go through the hassle of lugging the tank in to get a full one.

Quite possible it was not filled at all. You bought an empty tank. Which is usually how they are sold when new from a source thats not a filler.

Did you not read the post? I said it was freshly filled.

I read the post. I just happen to know an instance where tanks were thought to have been filled, but it turned out only 3 out of 4 were done.

It happens quite often, especially when dealing with delivery switch outs.

You can just take the gauge down to where you fill and have them check it.

Okie. Thanks, I'll have to take it on back then. Thanks!
