Depends on who you ask and more specifically your room conditions.

1200-1800 is the norm min and max, some people report going as high as 2500 ppm

My personal experince is that 1200-1500 is ideal, any more than that and they are just spitting it all out at night. I have ran as high as 2000ppm for 3 crops in a row and never achieved any better than when I run at 1200 ppm. It could be my room conditions that limited me rather than the co2 , who knows but that's my conclusion about co2.

No more than 1200. I try to stay at about 1000. Over the years, I've concluded that I'm not going push the limits on most things. Good luck. -granger

i set my controller to 1000. it always over shoots by about 200 ppm's. so it stays between 1000-1200. seems to be the sweet spot here.

There's about 400 parts per million of Carbon dioxide (CO2) in the average air around you.
So I personally would use no more than 800 parts per million at the most. Even then I would
only release the gas when the lights are on. At night, plants don't need it.

This is the correct number. More than 1200 is a waste. Search threads by Spur. He spent a VERY long time researching the subject reading peer reviewed studies and other scientific papers proving 1200ppm is ideal.

I double looking for Spurr's thread. He explains the relationship between heat, RH, CO2 and nutrition very well.

On the topic of looking for things. This was a very easy question to find an answer to, even with the poor site search engine. Google and site:icmag.com in the search bar is quicker but less secure.

If you have any issues with plant health or heat/RH control (especially when using burners), CO2 will show you what that looks like on overdrive. 400/800/1200 for a few days each will lessen the chance you come flying back here (or worse, GC/RIU/blah) looking for fast (bad) solutions.

But it is the bees knees. Lotsa Roxul and who gives a shite what the weathers like.
