For plants to really benefit from co2 enrichment it has to be controlled, higher co2 levels accomplish nothing if its fluctuating back and forth.I dont know anything about the product but it just seems like another worthless co2 release type of gig.I grew with a co2 generator without a controller only a cyclestat timer, pretty poor results.A controller is a must.
Yeah man i use one of these and just bought a refill this morning. They work pretty decently. It wont raise the CO2 to the 800-1000ppm it claims to do but it does a great job in a small area such as a hydrohut or closet. Gets it about 400-500 ppm higher. I noticed a great difference in my plants from co2. You should hook it up to the back of a fan to distribute it more evenly. CO2 is a must if you have a tightly sealed grow area. It wont hurt to give it a shot.
its Ok stuff.. I dont like the price but if u want easy co2 and have the $ go for it.. (i only recomend this stuff in small ENCLOSED areas..) you have to let it fall on the plants or threw a fan)
in all honesty a 10lb c02 tank and a diy timer is far cheaper. after 2 months use
you can pick up a 10lb tank around here for 40 bucks and get a Used Pressure Regulator and a solinoide and run it on a DIY Airfreshner (the ones that go 5,9, 15 minutes. ever time it pulses it would pulse the co2 for a second and have that on the Light grid..
basicly you plug the airfreshner in and set ur pulse time and run the Pulse to a relay that can handle the solinoide voltage and that powers the Solinode
Yeah i agree with simba that it isnt the best co2 for the money but it is super lazy to do (just plug it in). Enclosed areas would be best for it for sure.
I've got one and I think it's WAY overpriced for what you get. Refills at $100/bucket??? Gimme a friggin' break! If I had noticed that it had to have refills every 90 days I would never have bought it. I've been had.
