C-99 and Bubblegum...

I picked up both of these strains the day I took this pic (12-29). I quit growing (indoors) for a while and let someone else take care of some of my genetics. And well, when I got them back most of them needed some serious TLC. Here is the Bubblegum...

Sorry for the shitty picture. Anyways, they were both pretty overwatered, and in heavy soil, so I transplanted them into better soil a couple days after taking these shots.

Here is the Cindy...

I put them both under a 4', 8-tube T5 system and let them dry out for a couple days before transplanting them. They were not growing very well, so I repotted them before they grew into their containers. They had very small root structures when I moved them, so I didn't need to use bigger pots, just better soil. I did take the one from the cola bottle and put it into a proper 1 gallon pot though. I put them into Roots Organics soil, using their Oregonizm mycorrhizae powder. Then back under the T-5, where they exploded with new growth very rapidly.

Between the last shots and these ones I gave each plant one light feeding of; Iguana Juice grow, 1 tsp per gallon of Molasses, and 1 tsp per gallon of Hygrozyme. Giving them only straight water every time other than the one feeding.

Transplanted them into 3 gallon pots, the day before taking these. The one gallon pots had already been consumed by root growth! After just one week in the one gal's they were nearly rootbound. I don't know if it's the Hygrozyme, the mycorrhizae, the better soil or just everything together, but they are exploding! Anyways, these had been under the bigger (2-1K HPS) lights on 18/6 for a couple days before I transplanted them. Trying to get them used to the different intensity, and spectrum before I induce flowering.

Thanks, sensi!! I will be updating this thread regularly thru harvest. I put them under the big lights the other day, but still at 18 on. I will cut to 12/12 in about 10-15 days, as long as they get big enough by then.

Took a few clones off each plant, stuck them in the EZ Clone, then cut the cycle to 12/12. Today was their first day after having a full 12 hours of darkness. I will post up more pics in about a week to show their progress.

The BG is showing these big knots at each node, really knobby bulbs sort of. It must be something "Simon says" to do, because the only other strain I've seen do this to this degree is Chronic, also from Serious Seeds.

Hey sin-

Do you know where the genetics came from? They look mighty familiar :]

The Bubblegum is from Serious, via Seedbay. And the Cindy I got as a clone, so I am not sure of the breeder. How are they familiar? Have you grown them?

Update, 23 days of 12/12...

Here are a couple shots of the girls from earlier today. They are yellowing up a little bit, but overall healthy. I definitely should have thinned this Cindy up a bit, but this is my first run with her. I'll be sure to do that next time. They are both very stinky. The BG smell really danky, almost skunky. And the Cindy is straight up tropical fruit, but like overwhelmingly pungent with an almost rotten undertone about it. It smells great though!

Sorry, had to kill these ladies before they were ready. The BG started spitting out nanners and the Cindy was developing a few spots of PM on the leaves, so I had to cut her before it got to the buds.

sorry to hear about the girls, such a shame to kill off a girl before you get a chance to smoke it.

Do you have more seeds to grow them again? I just got some seeds of the C99 and would love to see it grown out. Supposed to be some psychedelic smoke from what i've read .:joint:
