hey has anyone seen the c13 closet grow on overgrows website?the c13 is the closet from homedepot that doubles as a grow box?i am debateing whether to to this instead of my current setup of 600 watts and a small grow room.my problem is my fiance gets paranoid as hell when the are flowering and it is kinda impossible to hide if need be.so the c 13 seems kinda like a ok idea.everything ive read says its friggan great and but does anyone think its a shitty idea?the c13 any input would be great.

I have a C-13 and its great. I can lock mine and no one even knows what it is! If your gonna get one, put a 250w lamp in it!

i use a c22... i would highly reccomend that over the c13, it's about a foot wider, but~ 1.5 inches less deep.... i use a 400 watt lamp in mine, but i think with some work you could probably use your 600 watt in a c22. i have no heat problems whatsoever, the floor in my c22 stays a cool 69F , and my canopy is stuck at around 76F.

this is in my basement, tho the hot summer days will probably move the temp up a few degrees down there.

you could potentially fit quite a few more than 3 plants in there, it's my first go at this cab so i went small.

with a tubbler you could probably get up to 10 plants in there i would think.... might be pretty tight tho. I will be running 5 next time in a hybrid dripper/tubbler of my own design. gonna work my way up to the max!

I use something similar from O.S.H, I guess its the equivalent to the C13 from H.D. Its in a garage I put a 400 watter in an enclosed hood in there and no heat problems. I use a 265 cfm squirrly fan. I have four fems growing in mine and it could'nt be greener. I say go for it. Very stealthy, three parties and nobody has even asked about it.

so do you guys think that the c22 could be ventliated well enopugh running a 600 watt light?could a fan larger than 265 dayton do the trick?i just dont know if i should invest in a 250 watter when i have a 600 already?if the c22 could be mated with my 600 watter then id rather go that route .whats your opinion?

My 400 watter stays nicely cool. The room it's in is at 68 or so degrees. i have a 265 cfm blower and four 2" passive intakes on the floor (which i believe have minimal effect because of the way the cab sits on the floor heh ) and two 2" passive intakes on the back, that's what those pvc elbows are there in the pics.

temp around the top of my cab is 75F-78F or so, temp at the bottom is 69F.

i would venture to say that if you have a better air cooled hood than my home made crapo job, you could keep that cab nicely cool with a 600 watt lamp.

the 265 cfm also doesnt have as much air output as i had expected, tho it seems to be doing the trick for my 400 watt lamp. I would look into the 465 cfm blowers for a 600 watt lamp tbh.

maybe even check out the 395 cfm or whatever they are inline fans to save some space in there.... tho i've not tried one myself.... it's something i've considered for my next go around.

I think they have a C17 also which is a double sided, twice as big as a C13 for only like 20 bucks more, and it locks, same contsruction, and same company makes it. Then u could have room for moms and clones

green lantern what kind of exhaust fan do you have?

I was thinking about sticking my 600 watt into my c13 once I vegg my plants up, 4 buckets in there scrogged, should yield like crazy if I can control the heat

I got a 4" vortexpower fan 172 cfm fan, for exhaust, the reflector is aircooled. should work huh? or should I add the other 4" vortex fan or just the 65 cfm fan thats in there now plus the 4"

well I gotta move in to there for stealth so im brain stormin
