C-13 ideas...

ok guys...basically I have a c24 up and running, but I am going to need somewhere to veg my plants in...i want to get a c13...Do you guys think a 256 dayton will cool this good enough? (I can get one really cheap why i want that) I want to put a 250 MH in it...I have 2 400 watt MH's now so kinda sucks, but i need a 250!! LMK what you guys do...any ideas are welcome...thanks ahead

How about air cooling one of your 400 watters? I run my 430 hps in similar space with a cooltube and temps are fine.
Edit: I use a 210cfm 5inch inline.

well i have my c24 and it's temps are 85...idk bout a c13...

my c13 has a daystar ac hood with glass. 400w switchable with fantech fx6 256 cfm. exhaust in to same room even and still stays 75 degrees or less.

dayton 265 cfms are weak for a 600....... but they work well in air cooling a 4 with glass......... so a 250 should have absolutely no problems.......hope this helps

hrmmm i sure do hpe since I run a 400 hps in a c24 and temps are 84...hope it works...

my old c-13 setup used a 250 hps ,batwing reflctor and a dayton 265, temps were about 3deg above ambient if I had bigger intake s temps would have been the same.
my c-24, I use a daystar ac hood w/ glass 600 hps with a vortex 449cfm inline fan blowing into a can 33 filter and cab temps are the same as ambient and most times a degree cooler.

hrmmm...you blow into your filter? maybe I could try that with this setup see if it's any different...

I exaust into my filter's also. It's supposed to be made for it though. They are called Phat filters. Expensive, but they are supposed to last for 24 months I think, but I could be wrong.
