Buying seeds

I'm sure its here somewhere buttttt wat is the best way to go about buying seeds. Using a prepaid visa card or gift card type deal or is any credit card or debit card ok. Reason being is obviously there are some assholes who don't approve of the shit but I wish to avoid them at all costs and do not really want them having access to my personal info should a package be seized. This is why I want to go with a prepaid card if possible. any thoughts?

If you are ordering from a site that takes Visa, them why not use pre-paid? Some places take cash or money orders only. Are all packages sent to your home address?

You are pretty much set using the major seed banks, the bay, boo. I wouldn't worry about using your own visa people do this shit all the time and a reputable business isn't going to screw over their customers. From what I understand, IF the package is seized, you just get a letter in the mail saying contraband was seized yada yada yada. You have to look at it practically though, how many packages are shipped from the UK/Europe to the US every day? It is a probability game and honestly I think the odds are in your favor.

Also, I believe I have read that prepaid visas do not work for international orders? You may want to look into that if you still feel like using your own card is too much of a risk.

use seedbay.com they have adds all over icmag. i have used them 3 times, you order over the internet and print out an order form and mail it in with a money order. it usually takes mine between 10 to 20 days from the date i mailed it in and i am in the us. oh yea they send awsome freebies they sent me 5 mr. nice and 10 sweet tooth for free on a 30 seed $200 order

Hey bohdi,Just send cash to Seedbay.Its hassle free and nearly always works.
I double wrap my bills in two sheets of paper plus the order form.Tape the envelope and wait two weeks.
Presto... seeds.
Use as few bills as possible and for crying out loud ,TIP your waiter.

I've ordered from the bay dozens of times. I would not worry about seizure these guys know what they're doing. Just order from the bay, send cash via Express Mail International, and wait for the package.

order from the Boo or the Bay pay in cash wrapped in a couple pieces of paper ... send it out express mail (38$) and use the airsure shipping (16$) from either seed bank & you'll get your beans in around 2 weeks & the freebies they send for using the paid deliverys are freakin amazing !!

You are correct. "The boo" is seedboutique and "the bay" is seedbay

Back when i first started as a seed whore. Attitude charged the card twice on two occasions. I think there shady as a mofo and i will only use them if bodhi drops something crazy. Always got the beans though.

My credit card company phoned me when I ordered from Attitude. Thought I had my number ripped off. Happened with two different cards. I suspect there have been problems somewhere there in the past. But my recent order was just fine... Guess I will find out if the number was compromised at a later date.

It is pretty common practice for card companies fraud dept. to give you a ring when a overseas transaction tries to go through. I will say though, it is best to support the community and buy from the boo/bay.
