Buying seeds

Hello all

Well after growing the same strain for 3 harvests,i fancy a change*grins*

Basicly tho i am stumped as to where to get my seeds from(Seed banks)
There are a lot of sellers
And a lot of varied prices(Some are just to expensive)

I read lightly somit about F1 and F2(F3 so on)

And that the F1 are better(and these are the most expensive?)



I would like to try some AK 47
I am confused tho slightly with the price of this

as far as i am aware there is only a few breeders allowed to sell these(Others have to go by somit like ole 47?)

And my understanding is the real(and only one called)AK 47 are F1
But then the price of the AK 47 changes dramatcly from the first guy to breed it,To the price of Nirvana UK(which was only about £10 for 10 seeds(as opposed to other places selling AK 47(Which are as much as £50)

How come nirvana UK can sell them so cheap?(Are they not very good or somit?)
Infact Nirvana UK seeems to sell all Seeds for at least half(sometimes a third)Of other sellers prices

So if anyone can shed some light on this pls do so*SmielS*

nirvana is really extremly reliable and has some really good strains if you like ak47 i would recomend nirvanas ak48 ive heard it is very good all his strains are ive just placed an order to the seed boutique and in less then a week they are on there way back to me and i live in the midwest usa and i also sent a money order also a friend of mine has order before and has nothing but good things to say if you are looking for new strains i would go with nirvana
because you can try so many more kinds due to there price and they are verygood genetics you cant go wrong with trying some out.
my friend has tried white rhino, bubble gum, and a few others and says he liked nirvannas bubble just as much as athe other 2 buble strains he has tried.
i would recomend nirvanas

I should of staed
I have had seeds from nirvana uk in the past(only once i have bought seeds)
And could not fault there service one bit
And there seeds were good to(as in germed np)

And the finsihed smoke was great aswell,but hear lies my prob i think
I have very very little Experiance in smokeing any sort of good grass(I am from the UK and we were brought up on crap soap)*GRins*
Of course grass has always been about(but always to expensive)


But from reading it seems the seed banks are alomost ripping each other off(By claiming a strain or somit)
And some companies seem to be selling from two outlets(I think white/black labal being one)

And Seems Nirvana Uk sell Seeds for other breeders aswell.But how come they can sell them for so cheap(are they F1)
Like the guy who lets nirvana sell his AK 47 sells his for 3 times the price nirvana uk sell them for...

Also then what is Gpysy Nirvana's role in the nirvana company?

Also are there as many seed banks as we think
Or as in the case of black label(white label)Are a lot of them owned by the same people?



Is it the Fact that Nirvana uk are UK based which means they can sell tthem so cheap?(dont get me wrong i aint complaining,Just want to know how they can do this)


Is the Kali orange linked to the Kali mist(or somit)
If so i did look at them seeds on Nirvanas site

Sadly i am only in a postion to purchase two diff types
AK 48 i got to try*grins*
And i was thinking of a cali type as my other(had seen a good right up on it)

But i also want to try Hindu kush(but only coz i like the name)

im not really shure about the seed companys ripping others off i have heard alot do but i know for a fact and hear all the time that seed botiques is the best place for seeds with the nirvana strains im not shure if they are f1s or f2s but i was told they arfe top quality seeds the cali orange bud i belive is a skunk cross that just has a very citrus smell and taste and is very potent its on my next order list for shure also i very strongly recomend the ak 48 because have heard some really impresive things about this strain so im glad to see it is one of your choices when i look at all the kinds and strains i would like to get some of the more expensive strains also but hey until you know for shure what is the best for you go with what you can try more of is they way i put it to terms and alot of people who have been growing for years and years still have alot of nirvanas seeds in there gardens so that should say it all there

It looks like there are somit like 30 banks on his list
But then some of the breeders only have 3-5 strains
So It looks like he sells sells Everyone's seeds for them aswell?

Nirvana sells f2s which are the f1s crossed with each other. There will be more instability with the f2s meaning you will get a lot of more different plants than with the f1s. Thats why they are so inexpensive. They are worth every penny mate I have several Nirvana strains but I have only grown out their White Widow but it was great smoke and definitely worth the 15 bucks i paid for the seeds.

You said you wanted ak47...well this is a serious seeds strain and pretty expensive. Nirvana did some work with the seeds from serious and picked out best males and females from the f1 seeds. They then bred these plants from the f1 seeds to make f2 seeds. They renamed the strain probably because of copyrights or something to ak48 but its still ak47 just f2 seeds of it.

How does the diff between F1 and F2 show in the potency(a varient in how they grow so on i can deal with)
but how does it effect its strength

Again i can live with a slight loss in potency(For the price)
But if there Is ALWAYS a huge diff in potency between F1 and F2 then i would probs look into F1 more in a few grows from now...

there shouldent be any potency diff in f1 to f2 just more variation in the plants growth some more indy dom some more sativa dom some shorter some taller etc.etc

OP is a nice guy and will help you out with anything you need from the shop. Like bakedpope already said there shouldnt be any difference in potency between the f1s and the f2s. Basically the biggest difference is the stability of the line. F1s are more stable and more of the plants will come out uniform with less variation in phenotype. F2s will show more variation in phenotypes and differences in growth than the F1s. If for example you wanna find the Cherry Pheno of AK47 you will more likely find it in 1 pack(if you are really lucky) of Ak47 but it may take 2 packs(if you are really really lucky) of Ak48 from Nirvana. Im not really too sure why this is because I havent really ventured that far into breeding and crossing. Maybe one day Ill get it and be able to explain it better.
