Buying seeds for the US

Hello all!
I have bought my seeds from Gypsy for years and am going to continue. Problem is sometimes they are out or don't carry certain strains. When this happens I shop around but it is very hit and miss.

Where are you guys shopping other than the Gypsy?

I prefer to use a card for purchases and of course they have to ship to the US.

I use to be much more cautious but now that it has been legal in my area for quite sometime and even for recreation, I feel comfortable using a card and posting a question. It would seem with the legalization happening in the US that businesses would be rushing that market but it seems to be slim pickings out there!

What are your experiences? Good and bad?

Hey sacred, I agree with you on your shopping habits. I go to gypsy first , but EVERYONE on here has had to make a purchase other than gypsy at some point for one reason or another. I disagree with dragongrowers statement. I have absolutely seen other seed vendors mentioned on here in many different threads. They even advertise on this site ! Check out herbies or ngr. I havent ordered from either but have heard positive feedback on both of them on here. In all honesty if this was the only place to get seeds, it would be quite detrimental to our community.

I've placed several orders through Herbie's. Never had any issues. (Other than wishing Ihad ordered more) they even have a pick n mix site to buy singles to try. They usually have good freebies too.

Hello I'm completely new to this. I live in a large southern state that is not known for its leniency towards MJ users. I'd like to start growing my own stuff, for personal use only. Problem is I've never found a bagseed. I purchased a 220w california-light-works-solar-storm have fox farm soil. A line of botanicare soil products. But I have no idea how to safely obtain a seed. Is peak seeds legit for me? I'd like to use a cc as opposed to sending someone cash and hoping they don't just pocket it. Please help if you cn

I grew for 10 years in Georgia and Florida before I moved here. In my opinion, ordering a small number of seeds isn't a major legal risk. Cops have better things to do than go after a guy who ordered a pack of seeds. Actually growing those seeds is a legal risk, obviously. That's why I moved to California.

I sent cash for my first few seed orders when I lived in Georgia. I got ripped off a few times. That's the main risk when ordering a pack of seeds for personal use. Someone receiving the order can just take the cash, or someone at customs can take the seeds if they happen to search the package.
