There is nothing illegal about buying lamps and such online. In fact, in a small city I once lived in - which a single grow shop - it was far more sketch to be seen pulling into that place. On more than one occasion I had seen local police parked directly across the street from the front door. But Im sure their intentions were honorable, right?

^Agreed. I live in a town with one grow shop, and I have also seen LE parked down the street from it, presumably getting plate numbers from "suspicious" persons.

No your right there is nothing illegal about buying stuff of the internet it can however be used as evidance against to if need be since you have to have a Credit Card or debt card most of the time to get things off the internet. But everyone has their own opinions on this, as far as the small town grow shops go, well if that were the case in my town I guess I would only go to the shop when I needed a lot of things and I would borrow someone elses car to make the trip. Or I would drive the distance to the grow shop 3 towns over. But that is just me.

Ive never ordered from a place that wouldnt accept money orders as payment. Cant recall seeing one that demanded credit/debit only either.

As far as it being used as evidence against me. The local police would have to get a warrant to seize the records of said company. If its not in your state then thats going to be an issue. If the feds are charging you, well then you have been watched. They have dates, times, and video of you leaving the grow store and just about everything else you do. So much for the cash idea.
Of course the feds usually arent going to waste time with small time growers. And if your are that big and cant do your own wiring and dont have people picking shit up for you in bulk long before necessary, then you are stupid.

But for those not familiar with craigslist.

craigslist is a classified ads site craigslist.org

you dont purchase off the actual site.

People post ads then you email/call each other and meet in person off the site to purchase in cash.

I've sold used lamps on Craigslist...it was quick, easy and free, no problems. There's even a used gear place called Hydroswap that advertises there. Then again I'm in LA, aka Amsterdam West.

The only safe way to order grow supplies and seeds by credit card/through the mail, is to do it in someone else's name, on their credit card, and to their address - NEVER YOUR OWN REAL DETAILS.
