Sup IC maggers?! So I never posted in this forum so I hope I'm in the right place...
I recently made some butane hash with dried trim and it came out very oily... all of the butane HAS been purged out and i've tried leaving it in the freezer but after a while it gets oily again. I've been told to whip it thoroughly as this will make it into a more buttery consistency but its consistency has remained very runny and messy.
Q: What is causing this oily consistency? Is it because I'm using trim?
Q: Can I still manipulate it somehow to get a more buttery consistency?
Also, I've recently had to chop a couple of my grls 2 weeks early (so they have been flowering for 8 weeks) and are in the process of drying right now.
Q: Would it be best to let the herb dry out fully before I use the butane extraction method?
Q: Also, would curing this premature nug have a significant effect on consistency, potency, and/or taste?
Thanks for taking to time to review my questions guys. Any input is GREATLY appreciated. Hopefully I don't ruin another batch before someone responds
