Butane Hash Oil

Hello All. I just recently took a trip to Humboldt an had the chance to process about 20 pounds of excellent trim with some old friends.

We bought a full case carrying 196 4.2 oz cans of Five Times Refined Butane.




With all of our material present we went to work grinding it for our glass tubes.







With coffee filters, elastic bands and some pyrex containers we got busy.



I dont have any pics of the glass tubes we used but much like the okeif setup it is a 12" long, 2" diameter, that holds the weed. The only difference is it's glass not stainless.

An oil slick with all the butane...dangerous!!!



Cooking off the butane and begining the long purging process to remove the butane.



The almost finished product. After sending it home I boiled and froze over a five or six hour period to remove any butane left in the mix. Now its yummy and lethal!





All together we got about 3 ounces of oil for about $400 of butane and 20 pounds of trim

How many grams of BHo did you get off all that. I think I jizzed my self at the site of all the BHO. For a run tha big you should have gotten a propane tank filled with butane, much cheaper. I just found this out on Christmas that you can get butane for around $1.50US per gallon when buying for a shop who sells gasses like oxygen, acetalene(spelled wrong) ect. Getting it out of the tank presents a whole other bunch of problems.

Probably closer to 4oz. after all the pans were scraped! Man there was some really high peeps from that there shit. What a good time. The best is the picture of the grinders O'Henry kept blowing up. At least the task was almost all done by that time....

I'm not sure that you can get five times refined butane in a large tank @ 1.50 gal.

It's probably a much less refined material in there.

Those toast master grinders got ruined quick. I saw a Cuisinart food grinder @ walmart that'd prob do muhc better.

Not really sure about the quality of the tane, I was just told the price. Who knows they may have different qualitys but its unlikely

All i have to say is that is alot of gas and alot of trim lol it looks like you got yourself a fair amount of fine looking oil .Did you do it outdoors as its hard to tell in the pics .As i always thought its best to do this type of thing outdoors .Anyways as i said b4 thats real nice looking oil , i bet many folks got well mashed up of that stuff lol.
