Hmm it wont work very well at all IMO. The water in the trim will freeze when the subfreezing butane contacts it which will "lock" all the goodies in the frozen mass, making for a really shitty extraction.

I find even using damp buds as opposed to crispy dry buds gives a lower yeild because of the moisture, let alone wet trim.

its best to use icecold crunchy leaves...or buds even...its best to let them dry out so much they crunch when u squeeze them. this way crystals have easiest pressure possible for them to release.
and as always b e careful man....be carefyl with butane.
personally i always use iso and let it air dry, 2 bottles of 91% iso evaporate over night, with your resin on the bottom of the pan in pure form.
butane is the best method tho makes the tastiest oil.
