Burroughs and Telepathy etc

Was listening to an interview with William Burroughs who pours scorn on empiricist scientists and relates a few examples of telepathic incidents hes had. ie thinking about New Mexico and seeing a New Mexico car plate pull in front of him at the same time.
I remember staying at my brothers once and he had this 3000 vinyl album collection lined around the room. I got up in the morning and thought id put some sounds on and picked out an obscure album by Manassas. I even chose an obscure track. So my bro says 'Hey weird I KNEW you were gonna choose that track' even though he said he hadnt played the album for 10 years....:dance013:

If burroughs was psychic he should have predicted he would shoot his poor wife in the head. Not psychic, but good writer.

of course burroughs was on. the "cut up method" doesn't work if you're not on. you can go through and go this and this and this, and none of that would be there if you're not on.

some people, they don't want to acknowledge on. they want to pretend like, if on exists, it's really uncommon.

spend time in nature. "cut into the present". cut out all the bullshit bukllshit bullshit people in the world. open your ears and listen to the birds, and the insects. and beware of human beings, "the best agent is one that doesn't know they're an agent" and yes they have their birds and animals and insects too.

telepathy can suck when the "on" people around you are all "brothers", they will try to keep you down.

I think such things are not so uncommon........Thinking about something, than seeing something that coincides....It's fair to say that there is a great many things we don't understand about the human mind...Remote Viewing is something the CIA and KGB have dabbled with over the years....There is obviously something to it...

I'm sure most of us have either thought about someone or have been talking about them, only to have them call you or show up in person....The usual phrase is" Speak of the devil", or "Your ears must have been burning"....Admittedly, it's unusual but not that uncommon...

Something strange that comes to my mind is, when I was a kid, going back quiet a few years ago.....I was in the car with my mother, one of my sisters and a friend of hers. We pull up at the local shop....My mother gets out of the car and walks into the shop, while the rest of us stay in the vehicle...At the time I had this Simply Red tune in my mind....I heard you Crying In The Chappel.....Next thing, My sisters friend starts singing the very tune that I had in mind.....Strange to say the least...

I believe, maybe not what he says but, that psychic phenomena might exist.

What were we talking about?

Well something is going on between twins. My sisters are twins. They live over 1000 miles apart. They can actually feel phantom pain somewhere where the other was hurt, without any knowledge of it beforehand. Also they just know when something is wrong with the other. Growing up with them could be kind of spooky, because they seemed to be able to communicate without talking sometimes.

Ive heard that about twins, i also noticed that there tends to be a twin that is weaker than the other

It's like a web we are all connected in, but just rarely we are aware of it/connected. There are (better to say was) elders that could "see" that web of thoughts...

Problem with this is, when you try to quantify it scientifically it usually falls apart. Not something that can just be made to 'work' on demand. If you live long enough you will see things that seem supernatural, not proof of that perhaps but quite convincing.

Another thing is imagination and desire to believe in something can cause a 'mirage' effect. If lost in the desert and dying of thirst you will see water after a while. A tough life causes us to seek comfort where it may lie: religion, physic phenomenon. politicians, hehe. Pot....

I do not believe in much anymore but do give allowance for things being more than what I normally experience. Belief causes a lot of grief. Religious zealots, political fanatics, have killed millions. To be fair most were killed by non religious types. Their ideology became their 'religion'.

Quantum physics says that the 'impossible' happens and it is very well accepted as real science. Last I checked anyway.

quite agree, belief is the pith of many issues

eg. the analogy of plato's cave, which expresses epistemological solipsism, should make it quite clear to any westerner even! that knowledge beyond the self is impossible.

yet, in the west, there is a belief system that beleives wholeheartedly in knowledge. it even calls itself "knowledge" ("science").

if only some reason could reach these fools and prohibit them from believing things, and going on a jihad to destroy the rest of the world based on "facts" their controllers present to them.

but fuck, even twins, ooh that's creepy we'd better deny that shit so nobody can reason with anything except the facts we hand to them... must be a coincidence... or self delusion.. go see a doctor pronto, treatment will give you all kinds of new shit to be thinking about.
