burner conversion

does anyone have any knowledge on this such topic,i need to switch 2 different burners from ng to p,im wonering if the burner tips have to be bought from the manufactuer or can they be bought from a local gas supplier store? i know the reg has to be changed but looking at viable options on the tips.

Yeah, the burners and the pilot orifice has to be changed and the regulator. You can buy replacement kits to change.

II ,ade the switch and the cost was not bad so I think that the complete kit will save you in convenience what you would save in $$ by seeking out the individual parts
