A cfl was too close to my plant and ended up burning both the leaves and top bud. I've read people suggesting to pull it off as well as leaving it alone until the leaves wilt away by itself. Any suggestions on what to do?

The top bud has been burned, but there are some bottom buds on lower nodes which remain intact (with the exception of some of its leaves being dried out).

I'm a bit confused at where to cut/pull.

Pull off the entire leaf, or cut just the dried out leaves, or cutting the leaf along with the branch it belonged to?

In addition to cutting the top bud?

Take it off just above the next good bud. If none...take the whole branch. Just take off those two burnt fingers...cut off what you circled. It's no big deal.

I did the same thing about a week ago! I cut anything that looked burnt. What I mean is, if half the leaf was burnt I would cut the burnt part and left the green undamaged area. It has been about a week and you would have a very difficult time finding the cut area.

I am pretty new to all this but I would recommend cleaning some sharp scissors with alcohol and only cutting off the damaged parts of the plant.

Good Luck!
