burned 2 hrs after watering

omg! my plants were doing awesome. i brought em out today for watering and rearranged the plants so they all get the same amount of light. anyways i went to check on em and this is what happened to one of the best looking tops on one of my plants. Is it salvagable. im just gonna cut it off it looks terrible. i noticed the room smelled like plant matter so i started looking around and found this.

this plant wasnt even directly under the light. it was a little off to the side and this happened. this fucked up my whole day. i may just chop it down completly or all ofthem for that matter. the longer i wait the more fucked up shit happens to them. im afraid if i wait another 2 weeks till harvest something else will happen and im at my wits end.

just let it be....averything will be fine if you move the light away a bit...if you can't do that then just "break its neck" a cpl. inches lower than where it should be....dont cut it off, just snap/bend the branch so it falls over w/ its own weight...It will be OK...In fact it actually helps the side of the buds get more light ....I have to do it all the time.

just about anyone w/ a cpl. grows under their belt has sizzled the top of a bud or two...it happens when your walking the fine line between too close and too far away w/ the lights...no biggie.

Don't cut the babies head off!!!!!!!! I agree with NOKUY, just bend it over so it doesn't touch the light.
But by looking at your nice buds....it should be smelling like plant material right? or did you mean burning plant material?

Peace

I have done both and depending on the burn [ how bad ] and the depth its sometimes better to carefully cut the burned part away. In the plants I left it the plant would stunt around the burned part as if trying to repair it. When I used sharp scissors and cut away the burned parts the remaining area would sometimes burst growth in the vacant space.

Hey man i know what ya mean by getting frustrated when things don't go right in the garden. When my girls are happy I am and when there not it drives me crazy! Add to that the fact that any fix you do for a problem usually take at least a couple days, and is at best an educated guess. I am a perfectionist ,so problems drive me crazy but remember its just weed :) try not to get frustrated i am sure you will still get a lot of good smoke from that run , and of course learn from mistakes, because thats what growing is really all about. Hands on experience
