Burmese dad

greetings
I grew out some of reefermans burmese this year and unfourtunatly most where male however one of these guys is the best looking male i have ever set my eyes on and i would really like to put him out to stud in the hopes to pass some of his characteristics onto next years seedlings. I am currently growing Mighty Mite, Early Riser, Early Durban, Schnazzelberry, Belladonna, BBxEG, Sweet Purple f2's and a (NLxSkunk)xSweetooth3 plus a couple of early sativas.
Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, Sounds like you prefer sativas. Reeferman has stated that his Burmese makes an excellent father.

I think that Belladonna, Sweet Purple f2's, (NLxSkunk)xSweetooth3 and the early sativas would be good for crossing with Burmese. Can you tell us more about your early sativas, and do you know what straain they are? Crossing your early sativas with the Burmese would produce an early pure sativa. Are you growing indoors?

What is the BBxEG and Sweet Purple f2?

Sorry about the delay in responding but life can get in the way at times. The early Sativa i am talking about is a seedling from the most sativa looking Early Durban i grew last year crossed with an early flowerin male of the same type, when i say early i mean it starts to flower early and went straight into flowering as soon as i removed it from 24/7 lighting in early june and it apears to be aproaching ripeness now (harvested 1/3 a couple days back and looking forward to it getting dry) so in comparison to many of my plants it has a long flowering period but is very photo-sensative. EGxBB is Early Girl X Big Bud that i saved from last year that is neither early or big in bud (thanks nirvana) but has rock hard nugs and a nice long lasting stone (so not really pissed at nirvana but i wish they had better quality control). The sweet purple is actually Potent Purple (my mistake) and i crossed them last year for seed stock and they are performing well with some developing some superb color and many seedlings already ripening (i love the color but the buzz sucks so i hope to improve that.
I am Gardening outdoors at about 45 deg n in eastern ontario and frost can show up from mid september so i prefer early finishers or plants with good frost resistance (we hit +1 on aug 12 this year which freaked me out) and yes i like the Sativa's

burmese is a great papa however it is inbred and I can feel it in the stone when it is smoked pure.

hybrids are great though. burmaberry was some of the best weed I've ever smelled in my life. a x with shishkeberry I think.

Well as of today he is just about to start dropping pollen so i have moved him inside to collect pollen for the next few days. and to be honest i think i will cross him with every girl i have out there. And some more information for the hermit, well it seems that the first of the early durbans is only slightly better than bunk when it comes to smoking i just hope some of her seedpack friends turn out better.
