I've heard here and there of ppl growing in burlap
sacks.I couldn't find much info, so i was wondering
if maybe i could get some indepth info.I need to know if they rot, mildew,or mold from the rain/watering,how you can tell if you're watering evenly, etc.Any useful info is greatly appreciated. Also, could strong lawnclipping-type
hefty bags be used?

I've never heard of growing in burlap but you may want to do a search on coco fiber.

Maybe your thinking about growbags....I think they are plastic.

good luck

You see burlap sacks used out here, but not for a while. They're much like growbags, but the roots can grow through the bottom if there's available groundwater. Downsides are they degrade (one season) and you may have to prop your plant somehow to keep it upright.
