hey guys....


just harvested my second crop....only to find tiny pin-sized baby seeds in all the buds
!!!! arrrrgh

what'd i do wrong? the only thin i can thin of is that i had an iron deficiency when i switched to 12/12....but other than that i dont know...

also... for my next grow...other that cleaning out my room really welll....what else do i have to do to prevent old pollen spreading to my next crop??? or is that not possible? do i have to clean my whole house?!?! arrgh

anyways much help needed here...

Wow those will be some tasty looking nugs...

I would take a small vacumm cleaner extension and vacuum the whole room (get all the lil cracks etc) then use a mild MiLd MILD bleach solution (1/2 OZ. to gallon or so & Warm Water) and go over everything..Take apart and clean fans real well etc.... Use a 30% to gallon of Hydrogen PErioxide to clean pots, soil mediums tools etc...This is what i always do in my rooms....

hermies can be gennetic or envirormental. have you had males in the room that had sacs on when pulling male . bump on the last post vac-n-wipe!!!

no as soon as i saw male preflowers i pulled them...pretty sure 4 weeks into veg...

these seeds were F2's .... are they more prone to hermieage?


ive been building myself up for this for so long and now it just sucks....

and to put salt in the wound...like, right after i found the first seed i cut the

shit out of my thumb with my scissors...

Your bud looks nice, i don't quite see the "pin-sized seeds"......

Sometimes you will find in female flowers some yellowish things that i think are immature male-flower parts......maybe these are the pin-sized structures that you found? i'm not sure that makes it a hermie, maybe the plant was just trying to be a hermie but never quite made it to the complete pollen-sac phase.....

Do you know what strain those F2s are?

the seeds were Joey weeds northern lights.... all the buds look good and female like.....but these came from 2 swollen calyx's

i guess i might just have to wait and smoke some to see if i smell seeds or not...

hey weedhound.... didnt know you posted over here.... but no actually i found these after i harvested... i didnt notice any "nnners" or anything like that while they were growing so i didnt use reverse.....

here are some pics.... i microwave dried a popcorn bud and put it in my volcano and i am high as hellllll.....

Don't fret.... They look delicious, It has been weeks here since i have toked.

Lessons in life afford us the oppourtunity to learn from our downfalls.

Next time try a better seed. I personally have never heard anything about joey weed seed co. However anything F2 is not always going to get 100% results.

IMO those little things are in most of the swollen preflowers.....you look in....

they arent seeds they are what would have become seeds if the flower was pollenated....

Anyone else have a nice fat preflower they can look in???

The ones that form in late flower like guinea pig is talking about, are refereed to as nanners, late male pollen sacks that don't open up and look like a banana.

There are 2 types of hermaphroditie flowers....

they are called perfect and imperfect flowers....

an imperfect hermaphrodite is where a plant has both male and female flowers but they remain seperate....

a nanner as we call them is a female flower that also has male parts .... the nanner....

HOwever this has little to do with the little goodie in the swollen preflower....

ive opened up a few more preflowers and they are there too...... i tried finding more little seedlike things in the center of a bud....but they're too wet yet and i ended up mangling the bud...lol

now ive got some white rhino from nirvana im about to germ...they should be ok...

I was actually looking at getting some Joey Weed blue apollo from hempdepot.... maybe i should not?

seriously? so my bud isnt ruined? this is only my second grow : ... so i have an excuse lol...

navigator, i put them between some damp paper towels, in an open bag covered up by 2 stacked plates on top of my router...
k more like 4 out of 10 germed.... it was definitely less than half.... but only 2 grew and the other 2 came out mangled and yellowy brown

edit: oh and hempdepot uses plastic cardboard...super stealth...

i also received an order from drchronic, and if you choose the stealth pack option, they pack them in these cool plastic discs.....definitely the best IMO

I checked mine Pepe, and I didn't find any.

I've purchased buds that had these in them. They were long, white and flat. Some of them actually had some green/colour to them and some even had the black patterns. And some even stranger, were formed with a flat/long/white unformed seed joined to it!! Siamese seeds!


Its all come from 'hydro' And smells like hydro-grown bud everywhere i've found it around. Like a 'generic' hydro smell. Anyway, that how I can describe it.

And I've had some seeds before, out of hydro, and also found male flowers in buds i've bought (hydro also)

And i've also had some of my own buds (form the hydro seeD) which i'd polinated LATE. That is, they were polinated say a week or so before they were to be picked (or something similar) and some of the buds were filled with this "pseudo-seeds"

Those long, white flat beasts....


I put it down to my late polinating, but I'm not sure.....

When more buds come along, I'll take some pictures for you Pepe. I'd love to prove you wrong, since you're so smug and sure of yourself, even if I agree with you.
