Bull Rider smoke report

Had 1/8th oz samples of bullrider for $55 at the Helping Hands Wellness Center in santa barbara california. A slight discount on price as ya head up to the whole ounce or more range, at least more of a discount than most dispensaries in the area.

The smell of this herb is very light when ya break it up, but the outside of it smells a bit like spicey haze and earthy/nutty undertones. The smell of it isnt that strong when broken up but does reveal more nutty smell and a bit of floral or citrus spice. Density of the nugs was fairly dense, would take two hands to break up a joint of this stuff. Not so dense it is difficult to snap in a bong but would make a joint clog up a bit if rolled too tight.

High of it wasnt that great, more of a headache feeling when you move around too quickly, def slows ya down and made me lazy but after five hits. Not as potent as I would have expected or liked to see based on the quality of the nugs, didnt last for much more than an hour either.. They were fairly chunky and had a lot of hairs intact but still looked a bit skuffed or maybe packaged tight in a bag at one point in its life. Good crystal coverage but they werent large heads on it, looked almost sativa by the smaller size and greater number of em.

FINAL COMMENTS:

FINAL COMMENTS:
strong buzzy feeling in front of face, makes ya a bit tired after three hits, really redens the eyes and makes em dry. Had the headache feeling as well if i turned my head too quickly.

Thanks for the heads up WZ, dfa, i appreciate it! Sometimes there is a difference between growing techniques and sometimes skuffing the buds on a screen or vac sealing em too tight when they are moist makes the herb look like this, not a plus for the sample at all! Too bad the SSR doesnt have a preceived authenticity seciton, as if it did i would lower my rating after two say it doesnt seem to be real deal.

What quality was it that stands out as not that of bullrider?

got a broken hand a lil bit ago, should have much more time here to test a few other strains for some pain relief, gonna head to er and see what the doc can do as my backwoods splint aint cuttin it, talk to ya'll later, peace!

on a funny sidenote, well not really that funny, but anyways...
i just broke my only female bullrider from seed!
yep, i broke it.
it was on a plastic laundry hamper to make up for hight and the hamper caved in destoying the bullrider and its two female nieghbors northern lights and leppard kush!

well they didnt die but the top half of all three plants broke right off.

i gave them to a friend and they went staight into his backyard so they might not make it.

i can get more bullrider seeds from the sb area. they are real bullrider.

You should have taken clones off your broken plant or raised it until it was big enough to take clones. You say that you can get seeds of the Bullrider.They must be S1s as the Bullrider is a clone only strain from San Diego. You may have the Afghan Bullrider, like I do. Your pics show leaves that are more Indica than my plants.

I recently crossed my Afghan Bullrider with a male Princess Diesel from Rezdog. Have about 4 months to go before I can sample it. i can hardly wait, as AB is one of our favorite meds and PD is giggle weed.

i've run seeds from bullrider that eventully hermied, and a diff cut that didn't really, later. seems everyone these days has a afghan BR almost. tried one guys that seemed more snocap, but br too.

Bullrider is some fine smoke, wish I had some right now. Properly grown Bullrider can knock your socks off if you arent careful. Make sure you're seated before lighting up! lol

cavalley, the pics of Sauron's buds look a lot like Afghan Bullrider. Our patients love it as a great pain med, and you are correct in saying that if it only lasts a short time, it probably isn't real. I have never had the pleasure of trying the real Bullrider. My AB cut came from Ocean beach disp. back when they were still open. I have a sativa pheno that cuts the pain, but doesn't completely knock you on your ass. It may be more Bullrider pheno than Afghan.

Cavalleysmoker - I appreciate you taking the time to type a reply! However we are on the second page of this thread, and the first half of which was 2 smoke reports that gave separate but similar descriptions/reports of the Bullrider sample I acquired at a medical marijuana dispensary in my state, this is by no means a definitive guide to the strain called Bullrider. I agree if it was skuffed the quality has diminished slightly, but being packaged too tightly often only changes the appearance of it or makes it a little harsher and harder to break up. As for the duration of high and other characteristics reported on, these are my personal opinions, and those of another daily cannabis smoker. I can understand smoking this the first time i tried marijuana and finding it far too strong for my liking, however now I am a much further developed head.

normally i would take offense to you inferring my report is inaccurate, however you said you arent trying to bring any negativity to this thread, and if it isnt negative then its simply more information to add to the pot and its always greatly welcomed by me in any of my threads.. I feel this is the most accurate report one could give, and if a second person reviewed my sample and gave a similar report than I feel that makes it even more solid and that much more accurate. Once again this is not the definitive guide to Bullrider, this is one sample, from one place, purchased on one date, sampled over several days - and that, my friend, is my personal opinion of the Bullrider sample I received..

On the sample I received that day and gave a report on, that is my final judgment of it as I have no reason to go back and change it, you could go purchase that same nug today and your going to get the same thing, i have nothing to add or subtract from my report. If anything, i could see one living in the area wanting to sample bullrider and NOT purchasing it from this location based on the comments added to this thread, and if that is the case then this thread served a purpose of informing the cannabis community to the quality of a strain being dispensed at a medical cannabis dispensary.

If you feel you are comfortable sending me a sample i am always willing to share and, as you have seen, review cannabis! I will gladly send you back equal sized samples of anything you would like to try. I am heading down to santa barbara at one point today and if possible will try to gather a few different samples of bullrider and review them all, if you would like i will forward you on a sample of the same bullrider i used in this review (have a gram or so i put away from each report) and whatever i come across today.

I totally didnt knock on your report at all. It is a fine report and I'm sure it is accurate to the T. Thanks for your report by the way, it is more information for us all when someone takes the time to write a report, especially a pretty good one like you did,.

By the way I replied after I read your first post, and felt dumb it had already been mentioned earlier in the thread.. I was merely trying to persuade you not to make this your judgement on Bullrider, as your sample doesnt sound too much like the Bullrider I've smoked. I have a fairly heavy tolerance and Bullrider will still stone me stupid. It would not be the first time clubs have passed off a great strain as something watered down or different altogether.
