Bulgarian cannabis yogurt:)

Hallo,everyone!i wanted to show you my canna yogurt. I'm not sure i'm the inventor of this,but however,it was really cool:)I'm sure this milk has medical value because it has also lactobacillicus bulgaricus and some other good bacterias in it. I made it from home made milk like we usually(used to do before Danone comes) do here in Bulgaria.

I'm using trim in this case and i'm still not sure about the proportions(like always when i cook with cannabis). first thing to do is to make canna milk. then u must add 1,2 spoons real yogurt and shake. Than u must keep the container well covered with blankets in worm place for about 3 or 4 hours.
I wasn't stoned after eating this,just veeeery relaxed:)

And...ready to eat:) Of course I'm just kidding with this"22%THC":)The interesting thing is that the THC does not affect the normal work of those bacterias,does not stopping the milk turn into yogurt.

Sweet:) So when you want to make yoghurt you just need the last of your old yoghurt? Do you normally boil the milk first if you make plain yoghurt?

Blackone, when we make yogurt from milk we don't boil the milk before(we actually call it "sour milk", not yogurt), but in this recipe the milk is heated because it's canna milk, correct me if I'm wrong Ina ! Adding some yogurt to the milk speeds up the process.
Nice job, Ina ! In some places here, there still are some people that make yogurt the old fashioned way, without mj of course : )) Good idea, anyway.
You sure do interesting things in your free time !

Interesting!I had to boil it because of the joint in it,that's right, but i will try to do it that way next time(i mean when i make normal...sour milk)I usually boil the milk because i,m giving it to my kid(not this one of course:)). if u are sure about the cow,that it is 100% healthy and the milk is fresh u can try to not boil. Yes ,we don't call it yogurt to but i didn't know how to call it on Eng.

In Denmark we have a bunch of different sour milk products also - making it yourself though is mostly something you can hear your grandparents talking about:) In Denmark we call it "Tykmælk" I believe - literally "thick milk". Another name is "Ymer" which is really the name of a Danish god - and a little different from "Tykmælk" which is again different from yoghurt.
Self-sufficiency, organics etc. is becoming a trend though. I never tried making it myself - only downside I can see is that I don't eat these products every day so keeping a culture alive would be hard.

Husky, if you don't boil the milk and don't add old yogurt then the milk will get simply sour - spoiled from all kinds of milk-eating bacteria. When you add yogurt to clean milk you make sure that the beneficial lactobacilli in yogurt have big numerical advantage to the other bacteria and so they will populate the milk before other bacteria have the chance to multiply enough.
Making canna-yogurt sounds interesting :)
I wonder if a little amount of lecithin can be added. Lecithin significantly increases the absorbtion rate of edible cannabis and it hits much quicker and harder.

And about the milk, I never buy milk from the supermarket, just hate the taste. I buy it from a nearby farmer and I usually boil it except when I like to make some yogurt. We call it sour milk, thick milk but we have some other words for it that can't be translated in english.
Yoss, yeah I always add some yogurt to the milk and also inside the jar it sits and the yogurt is always good, tastes wonderful. Peace, HJ.

it is nice that u do your own sour milk to:)Balkan style:) haha Than u can probably improve this recipe,because that was my first try to make it with cannabis and like i said i,m not sure how much trim(or may be buds if i have enough for experiments) i have to use. next time it will be more,that's what i can say:)If u try this,pls show us some pics here:)
blackone: may be u can find good yogurt with enough of those bacterias in the market and use it when u want to try this,but the fresh milk better be real like Husky said. sometimes when i have no my own in the fridge i,m trying to buy one or another from the supermarket nearby. Sometimes they just don't work,but u can still find something that really has those things in it.Ymer-that sounds cool!

yoss33:tell me more about lecithin,what is this and where can i find it?Is it some chemical?i would try that if increases absorption rate and hits quicker and harder. I usually don't use chemicals when i cook(i,m not so good at cooking:)) even when i make bread i don't use baker's yeast but once for the experiment i would try this thing.

lecithin is a fatty substance that binds with the active chemicals in cannabis and allows them to be absorbed in a shorter period of time in the stomach and makes the process more efficient.. works with other plant extracts aswell in the same way.. its not a chemical it exists is various biological systems..

hallo again! this is my second try to make canna sour milk. this time i used twice more trim than previous so the milk looks little bit strange and it couldnt get so thick:) may be the bacteria dont work properly in so much THC:)However i,m gonna make sour milk drink from it(airan) and taste it.Blqh,the taste is shitty this time!:)

Looks disgusting :) I wouldn't drink even a small amount of it, most probably is spoiled.

Haha,but the taste is normal like yoghurt with much water. the nasty thing is the marihuana taste in it:)well,may be u are right,i can make another one better:)

i hate yogurt. its one of the few foods i cant eat. its horrible stuff . i know its good for ya and all but its nasty.

no disrespect intended. i just cant swallow that stuff. i can eat almost anything else but my taste buds hate yogurt. i eat really healthy otherwise.i have tried yogurt with fruit and all kinds of stuff. just cant get it down. great thread tho anyhow and others will prob love it.
