Bulb shakes, should I be worried?

I have a 1000w MH in a 6" cool tube and the bulb has a steady (gentle) shaking to it. Its been hooked up for 2 or 3 days now and hasn't exploaded or anything yet, but should I be worried.

The shake is from the air movement from my 6" vortex (bad boy right thur :D)

What do you think?

most hps lights I have used have some degree of vibation. It can be loud if the wire is vibrating against the glass. Its completely normal in most hps desing including grolux and phillips SON T/agro. I now use Sunmaster (Bulgarian Made!) hps and these babies have a non vibrating design which is sweet! and they put out 10% more blue spectrum which is also nice.

erza thanks for the input. I love your 'HOG' too BTW. Some good shit there. :joint:

When I first posted, I had only seen the bulb 'gently shake'. Well today I spent a few hours in the grow and at some points the shake became so violent that the bulb actually tapped the glass. :yoinks: That ish does not fly for me, so I ended up switching the order of my reflectors. I would have just thrown a HPS in there (never had a problem with it shaking, or maybe I never noticed it? now way its going to tap the glass either way) but the ballast cord on the HPS ballast is not long enough to make it to my 'ballast room' from that location in the grow room. I have a sunsystems hood, not sure which one but its aircooled and impossible for the bulb to hit the glass. :D
