i am growing with same sort of setup but i hung the bulb vertical and keep my plants in a circle around it, rotating them every 2 days by a quarter turn of the pot.

my setup is just a wardrobe, a cheap 20 quid thing, with the rail across the top i suspend the light down and raise it as the plants get higher man,

ul need to change the bulb as the flowering stage starts man, remember blue spectrum for veg and red for flowering

use both lights to get a closer spectrum to the sun more of what the plant wants then just switch to 12 12
cutting the holes in 5 minutes then finishing touches and it'll b pretty as a bud

I was hoping you had not built this yet, i was going to suggest PLL's basically stretched T50 bulbs but stretched out and arched over.

pretty simple to wire up (once you know how), easier to cool (not hot spots between the spirals), remote located ballast, plus an even canopy of light.

when you throw your cfl away after a couple of uses, install some pll's and watch your harvest increase. also if you can cool a 250 cfl you can probably get away with 330 watts of pll (6 x 55 pll's)
