Bugs overodse on THC

I have plants at different stages in their life cycle. I have done a decent job of keeping pests away. Cinnamon is what I use to keep ants away. The following day after a rain, the cinnamon is washed a away. I notice that about 4 weeks before harvest, right before I apply the next dose of cinnamon, I find 1 or 2 ants that have crawled up to the colas and have overdosed on THC trichomes. I laugh out loud every time I see that.

I've put some of my special cooking oil in my bug sprays hoping to get bugs wasted but I think I just gave them the munchies.

Look at it this way. He died in a crystalline THC trichome jungle. Not a bad way to go.

Well, when you figure that both caffeine and nicotine make excellent insecticides, it might provide a clue to the reason why cannabis evolved the trait of THC laden sticky traps surrounding it's seed packages.
