The seedlings were looking nice and healthy despite wide temperature fluctuations this spring, with some nights getting down into the 30s and the plants needing to be brought indoors.
Heavy wind and rain bent the stems but luckily none of them snapped. When I'm away from home, the plants have been set in some tall weeds for camo. This is necessary in case someone like a neighbor or the UPS guy comes up while I'm not around. Bugs have started eating up the leaves on my otherwise healthy looking young plants.
Can anyone give advice on what to do to keep the bugs and slugs at bay? I'm sure this has happened to many growers. In your experience, if you can keep the bugs away will the plants bounce back?
