BUG problem

Alright so I have a bunch of flying bugs running around my room and i am trying to figure out what kind of bugs they are. Is there distinguishing factors that are identifiable just by the naked eye? I have no camera. Also i have noticed little black specs showing up on the underside of some of the top buds, could this be spider mites? Doesn't seem to be too many and they are only noticeable on one plant but I'm concerned about spreading.

Most likely aphids or fugus gnats. Get some neem oil asap, it will kill the larvi but not the adults unless it drowns them.

Bugs are like aids, we want to prevent. Neem oil sprayed regularly will prevents almost all bugs.

Yup just make sure to get the undersides of the leaves and where the stems meet the branches cause thats where aphids like to hide .. And if leaves are curling downward on the outer edges they like to hide there too

And only spray 1hour before lights on or 15min before lights off to prevent burning .. .. Or what I do is the plants I spray I move them about 10' away from the light so they only get indirect light until they are dry again.

And dont spray the soil .. Soak the soil! You want it getting to all the roots and all the soil to effect any bugs hiding deep down.

Neem cake and diatomacious earth mixed in with your soil is a good way for prevention to kill them of at the larvae stage so they never get more then 1 life cycle.

If it turns out to be aphids (look at the HUGE aphid/bug guide on here via the search button) and this doesnt help fix the situation (and it gets worse) then toss all your soil and plants, bleach down your room, grow space, containers, equipment and start over again .. It sucks but its what I HAD to do to get rid of my aphid infestation.

get a handheld microscope 60x,
they have em @radio shack for about $12-$15 and you can ID exactly what kind of pests you may have.

if your not totally going organic NPS's work wonders ;)
