Hi guys :) I have some outdoor Thai plants and at first I thought I had broad mite damage or a mosiac virus, but I found these guys under the leaves and I can't figure out what thery are. Any ideas? I might mix up a tobacco spray just to be proactive.

Thanks!

Yep lol. I am very inexperienced with most pests. Thanks!

Here's their big cousin that I saw 10 minutes after making this post.

Potassium soap is cheap, organic, very mild for the plant, and works very well. The soap brings the water's pH up to a point where it dissolves soft bodied insects. If you prefer using beneficials, ladybug larvae are voratious aphid predators.

Thanks, I think I'll try the ladybugs as I'm out in a village and I'll need to order anything that I use. Most of these plants I assume come from hermie genes as I got them from a flowering plant that I bought at a market last year and so far they're all female. I'm gonna try to finish them as best I can, but this run is mostly to get back into the groove a bit before I pop the Flo x OTM and F13 x Temple Flo that my friend from back home smuggled over here in his shorts pocket lol. I've been growing cactus full time now, it's been about 6 years since I've had a serious ganja grow that I really put myself into.

If you're gonna try the ladybugs, make sure you get the larvae. They are a lot more voratious than the adults, I think they look badass as well.

The adults tend to fly away at the first sign of discomfort so that's more of a gamble. If your conditions are to their liking they might stay and lay some eggs so that would be ideal.

Thanks man, this is also a good breaking in period for me to find out where to get everything I might need to grow well. Sometimes it's hard to find certain things here. Ladybug larvae being one, but I saw a Thai guy in a local ganja facebook group was using them, so maybe he can hook me up.

They actually do look badass. Like a big predator monster from a Sci-Fi that was never made.

They are excellent yes. I have a few little hotels for them around my yard. They're almost full this year.

They really help with caterpillars as well. If they are not helping you with your plants, you can put a little basin with water where they can have a bath right next to your plants. That way if they have a place to drink and cool down, they will stay near them. You can also attract them to your plants by dusting some pollen on their leaves. They only eat nectar and pollen, but they collect little bugs to fill the holes where they lay their eggs. Their larvae are carnivorous so that's why.

On the ladybug subject, in my country there are bio control companies that deliver every kind of beneficial. If you are unsure give them a call and they will guide you through the process, how to give them ideal conditions, leave them a source of water, etc.
