I'm about four weeks in, and the buds don't seem to be up to par with last time's plants at the same time period.

They seem smaller and more airy, maybe?

I don't know if its your lighting in the pics, but they look like they need some food. The leaves are very pale green in those photos, so if thats the case that would definitely cause the lack of girth you were expecting to see by now.

I found out there is a small bit of light leak. Patched that up.

I've recently moved to soft water (reverse osmosis) and have the corresponding nutrients - Dutch Pro Soft Water Hydro/Coco.

looks like you might not have dropped the ph when switching over to coco 5.6-5.8 beginning of flower and taper it down 5.5-5.2 as you get to flush time. also with the coco you need to get more mag in there and not from calmag, the cal creates issues in flower causing lockout, look to epsom or sul-po-mag:tiphat:

I see.

So, same pH as hydro and add magnesium.

Should I just increase the amount of the nutrients? I'm using Dutch Pro.

And most importantly - how often should I water?

Yeah they look like they are lacking N for sure. I know that look. Pale green leaves and darker near the stalk.

Feed them girls!!

Yeah incease your ppm or give an extra feeding during day. Are you using the same rig? Was it a brand new rig last run. You gotta really scrub the gear out good or else minor build up will screw with your results over time . I see alot of folks just go big and chuck for freshies

I figured out that the issue is my soft water. PPM is 250.

Only issue is, I'm following the feeding chart to a tee so I don't know what else I can do except for use 4x as much nutes as needed.

It's really important to know what's in your source water. High levels of Ca, Mg, Fe should be run through reverse osmosis before using your nutrients.

Good luck and grow big!
