hey hey everyone, I'm back from Taiwan and gettin started on my first grow, everything is going well except for my big baby. Her/His leaves are drooping pretty significantly and are turning a dark green in some spots. I'll post some pictures here in a second if anyone could help it would be wonderful. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated as well.

looks to me like you got a PH issue, ide flush them with some 6.2 PH water.

other than that, shes lookin great, ide flower them anywhere between 18"-30"... depends on how much room you got.

Perhaps over watered a bit.
Or PH as Bartender suggests.
Mine get droppy when over watered.

You can flower anytime your ready
Are they Clones or from Seed?
You want to find out the Sex soon to take a Mom, or Dad.

Thanks for the help guys, i don't think it's the PH because i have a PH meter and its rockin at 7 or a few tenths below. Also, whats the best way to find out the sex at this stage?

oh also, they are from seeds. And i think you're probably right about the overwatering. I may have gotten a litle overzealous in my watering :). I'll let them dry out for a few days and see if they start lookin up.

Oh and in case anyone is interested, the seeds came from nirvana seeds, top 10 indoor mix which came with a freebie bag of POK kush x black domina as well as 1 random Skunk #1 seed, which I believe is what the big one pictured is, or at least it smells like it :).

They're looking much better now!

Successful ganja growing growing in pots is all about watering - get that right and everything falls into place.

The water in Taipei smells like a swimming pool (just after it's been chlorinated)...if you have a balcony try to collect rainwater to use on your plants (or if that is not possible, store tap water in large open containers in the sun for several days so some of the chems "go" away..fly screen the containers or wen-zahs will breed)

it looks like that one was slightly overwatered...watch out for that in Spring or fungas gnats will severely affect them..try to water when the pot is noticeably lighter...but on the other hand it looks like you are useing a peat based potting mix, if you let these dry out they very easily develop dry spots that will stay dry after watering. If water bubbles back up as you water your pots then you probably have "dry spots" - soak the pot in 5 inches of water for 20 minutes after giving the pots a watering..pots that have been soaked or flushed need to be fertilized.......

What type of ferts are you using? you can get great results with fert pellets that are readily available at the flower market..there are several brands available and most have the N-P-K ratios in large size numbers on the packet and cost 50 ~ 80 NT$ per packet. I soak a handful of them in an open 4 litre container for a week or more, shaking daily...most of these concentrates will pong a bit, so if you do not have a roof top or balcony then it might be difficult)...but the plants love it and it's very difficult to over dose them...I use my teas in varying strengths (watered down so it looks like a weak tea) and i also make teas out of several different organic sources as well as different brands and NPK ratio pellets...I use a little bit of Peter's (chemical ferts) to lower the pH (and use a long thin roll of Ph test paper..but after awhile you won't bother to test very often as you'll get a feel for it)

keep us informed!

The third biggest one, the one in the front left in the group picture, looks like it's turning out to be a female, here's hopin! I'll post some pics later
