Bud Jones' 2016 NE Outdoor adventure

Hey y'all .. I'm running many strains this year .. Gorilla Glue, Sunset Sherbert, Orange Spice x Headband , 707 Truthband, Mass Superskunk x Appalachia, 24 Karat , Kosher Kush , Bogglegum , Jack x Sunset Sherbert, Cannalope Haze , Sour Strawberry Kush ,G13 Hp. More strains being started for the June and July second wave .

It's just my woman and I .. I'm mainly using 45 gallon smarties . I have 2 raised beds that hold 3 plants a piece . Than my normal gorilla holes lol. I'm praying we'll have a dry fall , we've been very fortunate for 3 or for years or so .. Fingers crossed .

I'll update as I get time , this week the goal is to get ten in the ground. I have the largest girls I started in March in 3 gal pots , another week they'll be root bound so off to work I go !!

Off to a good start .. Some new growth after day 3 of transplanting into the raised bed

The raised beds are amended with Happy Frog , bone meal , castings , kelp meal , year old chicken manure . Ph was on point .. The sites have full sun so yield will be good .. Next is chicken wire to keep critters out . I wait until the plants are 4 foot tall before I remove the cages ..

Ran into an issue getting a skid of happy frog .. I chose 2 cubic ft Black Gold organic which wouldn't have been my first choice ..

Any one with advice on amending black gold ? It takes 2 bags, 4 cubic ft to fill the 45 gallon smarties .. I was going to amend with perlite , chicken manure and castings .. Thx y'all .

I know BG doesn't have a liming agent. At least the natural and organic doesn't. Might be something to consider.

A little worried.. My plants from seed are preflowering .. Had them under 24 hours light .. Don't think I'll have issues reverting back to veg .. We'll see ..

Yes i Enjoy Phish. The Name Was Given After Years on The Road. 16/8 is A Great Schedule To Run When Going Outdoor. Rarely Have Preflower Issues. If It Continues Pruning Helps Also.

Yeah I started them under t5's .. Usually kept them under 24 hours and put them out June first with no issues . I got a little ahead of my self this year and put them out a little early .. Only a few went into flowering , some just threw pistols and continued veg..All 20 were sexed so I guess I'm good to go .

Yes .. I'm going to dust the best Kosher female with a Bog SSK stud ...I know pollinating feminized seeds isn't looked highly upon .. But experimenting is fun ya know ..

I haven't ran Cannalope before .. I've heard good things tho ..
