I was not able to document this grow from the beginning. I do however have a few pics of the Bubblehead about 2-3 weeks from harvest.

I will document the next run of these in a few weeks.

BUBBLE HEAD

This is a Sour Bubble x Diamond Head cross.

Not as strong a smell as Sour Bubble, but it is easily the dominant smell in the mix.
The Sour Bubble easily has been enhanced by the Diamond Heads vigorus growth in flowering. It yields huge with extremely sticky tight buds....and to my surprise, nice main colas. I would like to bx it a few times to stabilize it and collect the traits I want.

So far most are extremely uniform and takes off even in veg, but I need to find the "perfect" balance of: Growth, Potency and yield.

I would like to know from some of the masters with experience using Sour Bubble in breeding, whether or not I would be able to retain the vigorous Daimond Head growth in flowering and keep/increase the Sour Bubble potency by bxing to a Sour Bubble Male?

I will post some cured bud pics in my next update later this evening.

Indicalover: Excellent. Heavy dozer but functional bud.
Has the Sourbubble taste, but milder with a sweet overtone.

Here are the parents selected for breeding. I have realized that I should have included a Bubblehead male in the breeding, but the three seeds i sprouted were all female. The third of which I will show later. She is the same age, but has been placed in veg room with 5k. Huge, esp. in comparison.

How much vertical height do you have?

Maybe you will find the pheno you are looking for in the f2 generation as im sure the sour bubble dominated the f1.

I have a 10ft ceiling. The funny thing is. They stretch nicely in flowering. "Bigzilla" has the vigor I want as well as excellent potency and aroma. I just want to make it even better. As you can see by the nugz...she aint no slouch.

She's as tall as me can i take her to the dance ? lol. Nice Work Sour B was the mama it is good to see the sourB in more private projects. I used a sour b daddy with my kali mist mom and got the mistery bubble well its a toss up between two mamas from the "f1s" I'm gonna run both until one exerts its dominance over the other so far there is no clear winner just 2 great girls one more sour one a bit spicier.

Rondo: Thanks a lot.

In the original cross....the Diamond head was the mother and Sour B the father. I hope that I can get some information on whether or not I would benefit from using these f2's or should I use a clone of the original mother.

Also whether or not I should cross a Bubblehead Male to a Sour B mother for a better mix or both.

From my last post I have another question.

Would it be a good thing to cross the f2s I have now with the f2s soon to come.

Or would that be moving in the wrong direction for stabilizing a "new strain".

It depends, What kind of a plant do you want?
Im thinking sour bubble dominant in most traits with the dh for vigour?

Not sure but...
I would find an ideal male(dh dom should pop up in the f2 if it hasnt in the f1) and use him to pollinate the sour bubble momma.



btw: How much did that 6'3 monster yield?

When I first started this one, I wanted to create a bigger sour bubble, but I don't know if I would end up right where I started.
I figure I could get kinda close to my goal before losing the increased size, but that opens a lot of questions to myself....will I lose size, will I lose the potency, will I lose the continued growth in flowering. You understand im sure.


She is still growing.....I have 2-3 weeks left. She is still putting on the size and frost.
She is the biggest one (bubblehead) I have grown to date.

I unintentionally misrepresented the parentage of this mix...my second opinion (The Wife) corrected me in that:

Mother was a SB bx1 tester
Father was Diamond Head tester

These two new mothers are the first batch from DHxSBbx1 (bubblehead) and the above referenced father is a SBbx3.
